I have seen god do freaky stuff though... Like my friend got prayed for an doesnt need glasses anymore.. one of my friends had asma, got prayed for and hasnt had to use his inhaler ever since *this was a year ago*, someone who I knew of had a desise where they couldnt eat fruit or touch rubber or they would swell up soo badly that it could kill them, they always had to carry a pen with them, and they got healed afyter being prayed for.

Well if this isnt god, then what is it?

I hate stupid explinations like this. That could be 10000 million other things that caused those people to "be healed".

Your god excuse is jsut a way to justify your unrealistic beleif. Its for the weak!

If "praying" can cure all that shit, why does cancer still exist. Ask your god to explain AIDS while he's at it.

Like what other things could have done that then? Id rather much like to know that..

Cancer and aids still happends because of man, if you knew anything about christianity then you would know that man brung it on himself.. God may have also stopped aload of stuff that you dont know about, but when bad stuff happends.. you always assume that he isnt there..
I have known of cases where god has cured canser as well, if there is no know cure to it, then what did it?

Also.. how can you explain stuff like prophacy? Tons of christians who I know have got prophetic words when they get are praying to see them forefilled.. how would you explain that?

They're fucking nuts. Its all manifested in their heads, then they go and give credit to this imaginary being that makes them feel better.

It's all for the weak. you all just need something to make you feel better about your stupid pointless lives. You're not strong enough to accept that life is meaningless and still live on.

You're pathetic, and so is your faith.

You know what.. your completely right that we are completely weak.. because christianity is for the weak.. but it is no way to make us feel better that there is no point in life..
But to be honest.. everyone is weak..

I still want to know how healing and phrophacy can just be made up in our 'pathic' minds?

Your knocking something you havent even tryed or experienced before?

Isnt that quite small minded and weak?

I'm not going to fake faith in order to "experience it for myself." You're either brain washed, or your not. And I haven't been since like age 7.

You're 14. Case closed.

Its not being brainwashed one little bit.. its called experience.. not from people telling you.. but from god telling you..

I would ahppily except that god wasnt real if you could somehow explain how these things would happen without god, but you cant.

Giving the credit to coincidence makes more sense than some invisible, intangable "being", made up by PEOPLE.

Children are easily brainwashed. Particularly stupid ones.

HAHAHA, as I said before, I havent been brainwashed at all.. about 6 months ago I didnt believe in god at all, but then aload of things that have happend that have convinced me that hes real..

Yet again, you could say that your stupid for excepting what the world and media is telling you?

I hardly think that my consience also could read relivent bits of the future do you? I also dont think your mind can trick your body into healing itself, for canser is incurable.. isnt it?

Also, there is more evidence that jesus existed, then there is that julia ceasor did.. and jesus was either that biggest con man of all time, somehow performing miricles and stuff, or it was all real..?

people who are brain washed don't KNOW they're brain washed.

So stop giving yourself so much credit.

Did I mention you're 14? Shut up and go read some spiderman comics.

Okay then, what has being brain washed got to do with all the healing and stuff is the point im trying to make.. I may be 14 but at least I would be able to pick that out.. Who cares about my ge, your just using that as an excuse to hise that your being proven wrong by a 14 year old..

LOL Ok yes cancer can be cured if you catch it early enough. And yes its called placibo (sp) when your mind tricks you, and it can do tons of stuff, how do you think buddist monks can handle some of the shit they go through to block out pain? They just convince there mind enough that it wont hurt at all. You ever here of Nostradamos (sp?) He had no christian affliation at all and have thousands of phrosy (sp?) come true.

There is no invisble being up there helping everyone. Why does he only help the people that pray. What about other children that have cancer but belive in some other relgion and don't pray at all, can they not be helped? Sounds like a pretty shitty god to me.

I believe in god and all...even though he's never answered any of my prayers...which I can kinda understand...we happen to be avid users of the "gd" phrase...

YOU CAN'T PROVE RELIGION!

that is a FACT. So you aren't proving ANYONE wrong.

The fact that you can't understand that is what makes me shit on you being 14.

I dont think that it tricking your mind into something like curing cancer could actually happen though.. but point takan.. your right it could just be these things..

But god does also do amazing other stuff, like signs and stuff.. If its not god, something has to be doing it..

Just try for a second to grasp this concept. And maybe things will be cleared up a bit.

POSSIBILITIES ARE INFINITE.

When you consider that, anything is possible. Even miracles, even "signs". The virgin mary appearing on a peice of TOAST was not made by jesus! It was made by a toaster, and peice of bread, and infinate possiblities.

Things are ALOT more complex than you think right now, and maybe, in 10 years, when you open your mind a bit to possibilities OTHER than god, you might see the big picture.

Weird shit happens Matt M. You can't justify the existance of a God because your friend can see without glasses now. Thats pretty normal for some people actually. And if it's god choosing what miracles he does, he chooses strangely.

Exactly, I was stuck in this phase where I thought like you (Matt) and then I started thinking, Why the hell do I beleive this shit, but then I started thinking well then if he didnt exist where did we come from, so I started doing research and I found that evolution has alot more scientific proof than religion , well really relgion has no proof of existance at all. Religion was made up thousands of years ago in the stone age, Cave Men haveing a smaller brain capacitiy back then couldn't grasp the thought that we weren't created by something so they made up wild storys as to where we came from, and they have stuck through the ages, thats why little kids have more of a chance to be brained washed into beliveing in it. But comeon guys we are not cave men anymore lets grow up and accept the fact that we are just here.

People say 'ofcourse there a god, cos who invented us?' but the fact is 'who invented god?' which most christians responce is 'he was there from the start' and my responce is 'then why couldnt we be here from the start? Ha rinsed, now suck my bitch dick'.

End Of.
