How long did that take to make? I did some lino prints a few years ago and spent an hour a day on each one for a few days.

Took me a day, like 4 hours, it's a simple lino cut then fucked about with the colour, didin't do it in layers, that takes ages.

thank you too, and I understand. I'm the same way. however, my work doesn't really get that much recognition anymore. I'll be one of those statistics where nothing gets recognized until I'm dead.

Digital Media

why?
06 October 2007, 06:29 UTC#4,523
honestly, taking digital media is a waste. I know many people.. (some bad, some good) who did digital media, and achieved nothing more than they already knew.

Zaid, got a link for your course?

Adem: Depends, degrees are really what you make of them. A degree isn't a way of showing you're a master in whatever course you've taken, it's to show that you are willing to stick at something for a number of years and that's why a lot of employers ask for just a degree, rather than a related one.

My course is called 'Digital Art and Technology' and there are a couple of people on the course that think it would be just pure dossy photoshop and it shows. Whereas others know what they want to be doing in a number of years time and Uni allows them to work on their skills, style and most of all networking.
