I'm way better at drawing than Mike, I'm just modest.
When I colour, I stay in ALL the lines. And I can use the orange in a certain way so it looks like skin.

so my work is bad and doesn't deserve a flash script to present it because it looks better than my actual work? or should I toss in mild jagged font and gross colors to present work I spent most of my time on? I'm not sure I understand what you or that article there is trying to pass by on me.

Your work is always of awesome quality, but what I'm trying to get across is that for a portfolio site it's your work that needs the focal attraction rather than the site itself. Anything else that is there takes that attention away.

yes, but I spent too much time customizing that to just toss it away, but I also fear that just a few font inputs to link to your work isn't going to grab the attention for someone to stick around and actually look at your work, in all honesty dude, if I came to your portfolio and didn't know you, I wouldn't take the 2 seconds to click portfolio. I'm coming from my own stand point, therefor I have what I have up now because that's what I look for and I know that's what would grab the attention of someone to actually take the time and look through what I have made.
I tried that simple approach, not only is it a hassle to mantain, but I never get the recognition I deserved for my hard work and I think something like that just doesn't show that you care about what kind of vibe your work puts off, it's like having tons of money and living in a shack. I don't care what some random dude wrote in an article. this is what I see and feel about the subject.

I was actually thinking of getting some of Mumfords work as a tattoo.
I\'d probably pay him to design something for me though, cause a lot of his work is too dark. I just love his style.
First I gotta wait for my skin allergy to sort itself out before I can get a tattoo :[
