I make an image with a meaning, then construct it into a piece. I want my art to be an expression of something the way I want it to be expressed. Not so others can understand it.

sorry 2 say this joe but I didnt like your last 2 bits..
the people looked too stuck on.. and just didnt look like they were part of the picture if that makes sence..
I think some shadowing wood of helped and maybe resizing them.. yeah id go with re shadowing them

hereI absolutely love how it turned out, it's not as good as the guy I saw do this before, but I adore it. I did a lot of smudging, and outlining, and highlighting. there's not much to do, but it's very time consuming.

yup. I saw his work and loved how it looked, thought I'd give it a go. that's a picture of my girlfriend, so it means a great deal to me how good it turned out. I love the nose and hair the most. I repainted the lips and eye/
