Okay, in second grade I copied off somebody on a math test and the teacher held her back after class when it was really me who copied.

Your supposed to turn into a skid not away from a skid.

I think that saved by the bell just wasn't that funny after screech's voice changed.

Yeah, but I never use periods on forums, as it tends to keep discussion open and stop sentences looking brief

K this thread aint been taken seriously at all, so im ganan be the boring one and actually ask for some advice.

I didd'nt want to start a whole new thread for this so I will just post it here as it seems as relevant as anywhere else.

My Parents have just split up. I have a seven year old brother. Me and my Brother are living with my mum at the moment but my dad will be fighting for the rights to see my brother. Neither I , my mum or my brother want too see him. Now can any of you suggest a website or just tell me if you know this kinda thing ( maybe weak or someone) regarding what age the child can decide for himself who he wants to live with.

Also any sites tht would give me information about the legal side of this would be great.

Thanks.

Well things like this usually get taken to a small court hearing, don't they? Either way, you say your younger brother and you do not want to live with your farther. So if you tell them why you don't want this they have to take notice. If somthing has happened that has made you not want to see your farther, then they should take that into consideration. Good luck with this bro.

It's all up to the courts to decide, skipper. I bet you're old enough that they'll let you decide, but your younger brother won't be able to choose for himself.

I hate girls who lead guys on and then get mad when you figure it out and make you out to be the bad guy. who here makes out with their friends? is that just a player thing? cause I don't get it.

It also goes by best intrest of the child. If he will be better off with his farther there will be a good chance he will get the rights. But usually the mother is the one who gets rights. There must be a reason none of you want to see him. Bring the reason up, it could be what you need to get rid of him.

Yeah they sure as hell cant make me go with him, if I see him in the streets im likely to try my luck with beating the knob to a pulp..... but anyway im 16 thts easily old enough to decide.

I dont think he will want full custordy of my brother, just like weekend accsess.

But yeh, a site tht states the UK age of deciding would be nice, I cant fucking find one, not through the lack of trying.

sorry to hear that, hmm im not exactly shure about the laws in the uk or whereever you live, but usually kids are given the decision at the age when they can comprehend whats going on and 7 seems old enough, I only know this cause all my friends parents are divorced

He is my step dad in the first place, and I never was tht close to him...thts the reason I dont want to see him, iv'e always been a mummys boy anyways biggrin.gif.

But they pretty much broke up because he diddnt want to be with my mum no more, so he just left. My brother dosent want to see him because he sees it as m dad has broken up his family. And he has cause hes a tosser. But yeh.

Ahh, well still I am sure your brother has a choice in the matter. I would recommend calling one of the free helpline you see on T.V. It is confidential and they may be able to help man.
