Best way to release a DVD, produce it yourself, it's not hard if you really think about it. Most groups have 3+ members, everyone toss in 50$ a per paycheck (if you're employeed), when you have 500$ you're more or less set for starting off, chances are your DVDs won't completely sell out at first

You seem to forget lot of aspects of producing. I think you ment just disc printing. The whole producing process includes stuff from finding unsigned bands to distribution...
