It disn't really matter cause I have never been a XBOX fan. Playstation is always been my fav. If I was to get a Xbox it would be for two games only.

I think the xbox looks realy good. WIll do well just because of games like HALO... But I cant wait for the new nintendo myself... ill prob own the PS3 and nintendo... But I am gona but the old xbox soon as it has some cool hacks for DVD players.

Nah. the new xbox is not doing a big leap like the first one did or what the PS1 did when it first came out. Some things like the HDTV is cool..but it would be mad for them not to do that.... I dont see much that is MEGA new on there... well nothing that anyone else making one would not have thought off.
But Nintendo know how to make good games... and they know how to make new ideas that work.

hmmm I guess you have a point but if you compare for example the gamecube to the xbox or the ps2 I think nintendo has alot of ground to make up with their new console

yeah your right there man. Only system I own now is the game cube and yeah its not as good as the others.
Only reason I own a GC is because I am a Resident Evil fan.
But I think by the looks of the new Nintendo there not trying to compete with Sony or M$... There "TRYING" to take a diff approach.... And if it works it will change gaming forever. Where as M$ and Sony are just doing the same old shit they have been doing since gaming started

tbh with you though I feel that all three need to try something totally new and radical if they want to dominate the gaming market. the way I see it is atm everyone who bought an xbox will buy a 360...people who bought a ps2 will buy a ps3 and so on. and it will probably carry on like that until someone does something mega amazing.

yeah I know. It will be PS3 and XBOX who get the most market but if Nintendo can prove that there system is nothing like the otehrs and will oneday be like a TV as everyone will ahve one... Then it will take the market that knowone has yet.
The way I have seen the Nintendo is that it will be for older people... and the younder people... It will be easy to use and easy to get used too... If so it will give my mum something else to do apart from smoke herself to death and also the same for my gran.... So fingers crossed it works

Nintendo I think have always been behind in things.... When everyone used CDs they still used carts.
but I think they always make a great system even though they might be behind. They know how to make games.... ANd its not always about what has the new things or if everything looks real... sometimes its about game play and they always have that.
I still play on my N64 more then anyother console.... Mario Tenis is one of the best games of all time in my book... and also I am quite a big Zelda fan

Nah, Nintendo have been the first in my fields, first consoles, first to design analogue stick and rumble features. I still prefer the old carts over cd's. They don't get scratch, less loading times, and more old school

The gameplay of Goldeneye is much better than HL2. Once you complete HL2 that's it. Whereas with Goldeneye you can complete certain stages and get cheats etc. The only longetivity aspect about HL2 is CS Source.

I was playing Goldeneye yesterday id say gameplay it is one of thebest ive played... And replay value is great. But the prob with carts is there so damn small. I do like my FMVs which Nintendo have now.
But also my fave game started on Nintendos Final Fantasy.
I guess it all depends on what type of a gamer you are. if your just a dumbass and have a very low IQ then you will love your First Persons IE Doom and stuff. but if you like to think then yo uwill like games taht do not require all the big FX and you will enjoy gameplay which I think Nintendo has.... But then again not just nintendo has that... Its just 90% of there games have it unlike the others.
