Use a screwdriver to force out the slot, not literally, just push it out slowly..

Just tried that, no such luck. For some reason the tape doesent close or even attempt to eject.

Seems like a problem with the motor, or some cog is jammed. Best option is to take it to a shop as opening a camara is a stupid idea. The whole thing can fall to pieces once opened and you may have trouble putting it together again

I had a similar problem... I took it to service... costed me 120euros and a tape full of rip/off's finest... and now the same has happened to fille's(from our team) camera, hope the tape wont get destroeyd...
