Ok I have the Sony VX1000 and I want to get a fish-eye or wide angle lens, but can't seem to find any when I google them that will work; anyone know how to help me out here???????

I checked ebay but none of them said it was compatible with the vx1000 so I don't want to buy it and have it not fit.

I could do with a fish eye. I got a wide-eye built into the camera and it works a treat.

Yes, it would be a pain in the ass, but I mounted a 5" dvd monitor onto the top of it, so it pretty much owns all lcd viewfinders....

why are you guys so fucking lazy.. go to or ring up your local camerashop they can order almost any kind of lenses, batteries or whatever you need.

If your getting it for yourself, because you wan't it, go get it somehow man,

u can always use a program which makes the footage look like its been done with a fish lense. Motion on mac does it pretty well.

well it doesnt defeat the object, just provides an alternative to those who cant have a proper fishlense. It looks just as good.

The point of a fisheye is to see more of what's around you, right? to give a wider view?
Well, if you film it without that and then just add a curve, you really aren't seeing more, it's just curved.
See what I mean?
