dont really have much to say but Thanks Vode for trying to fix things for homegrown, the groups themselfs need to commit and the more that do will help homegrown revive itself, but not on this forum, this place has been over taken and claimed as their own by ex posters. as no new memebers can stick around. if anything a new forum based around extreme amature filmmaking would benefit more, start from scratch and see what happens, but asfar was tryin to motovate old groups, nah they are more intrested other things now these days. hows the sst pro dvd coming along?
O come on, a new forum wouldn't help, jackass has been and gone, and that's the only reason homegrown was ever "big". It's dead apart from a few groups and will never get to as good as it was.
I didnt say make another homegrown forum, one based around edgy amature filmmmaking would work since there is more out there these days, plus the ones who still do it have been improving far beonde HGF glory days of 2004. and if you notice the ones who still work in video production wasnt motovated by jackass, if they was, they are long dead or famus by now. and while you think homegrown was "big" it was only a website that held a collection of underground stuntgroups and filmmakers on a small part of the internet.
which only held a handfull of above average groups anyway. tryin to rebuild this site is impossible, it'll never happen, homegrown is dead, none of the daily chat posters will let new groups in and the other groups have left because of it. so the only thing vode should be doing is motovating the decent groups left who wasnt just looking to be popular at hgf as their main goal. since most people have already accomplished that. jump starting homegrown wont happen when most peoples goals set these days on the forum isnt to make an entertaining video, its too look buff.
