Homegrown

I know that these days lots people who used to make videos lack motivation. And hgf has gone from amateur video forum to bunch of geeky internet friends talking about bulking up and raping children.

Id like to change that. I think we need collaboration video project that anybody could take part in. This could motivate people to produce clips and we could also get some entertaiment from it.

This project could be pretty much anything if it involves deadlines and international co-operation, I dont really have a proper consept for it.

But it could be kind of like those stories where one person writes one sentence, next person writes a sentence based on the earlier senctence and the third person.... untill the story is told. In video format this could work like this: first group makes one (or few) scenes, posts the clip online and the second group continues the story (or the theme) in second clip (that consist from one or two scenes) and then the third group... until we have long awesome skit.

Or then we can just do the banana throwing skit.

I'd be willing to do it if anything actually happens before it comes to be my turn.

I think the fact that it's skit-oriented rather than a FUCKING INSANE STUNT MIXUP makes it more accessible to people. If you can kick it off and get a segment filmed I know that me and Matt would be able to throw something together. Shit, even if we took a camera out on the town and filmed for an hour around Leeds, we'd get at least one pure jokes moment in the course of our daily adventures.

Kk, lets say you guys are the second group. I´ll have a clip ready in a week, the next monday to be exact and then I´ll post it and you guys throw something together in a week.

We need a third group to continue L&M`s legacy.

I might buy a new camera in a few weeks and start filming again. I've been finishing up some final shit for the new website too. Can't wait to film again, I've had a big urge for a while now and then decided to relaunch the website and talked to Danny (mutley) and he's down to start filming again also.

can we change this guys name to greggs? I like greggs.

We have enough Greggs in Leeds as it is. It's my theory of Quantum Greggs Mechanics that you can stand in any spot in Leeds town centre and be able to see at least one Greggs bakery.

dont really have much to say but Thanks Vode for trying to fix things for homegrown, the groups themselfs need to commit and the more that do will help homegrown revive itself, but not on this forum, this place has been over taken and claimed as their own by ex posters. as no new memebers can stick around. if anything a new forum based around extreme amature filmmaking would benefit more, start from scratch and see what happens, but asfar was tryin to motovate old groups, nah they are more intrested other things now these days. hows the sst pro dvd coming along?
