well I work for o2, the UK provider of the iPhone. Basically if you jailbreak your iphone it'll basically take the 12 month warranty away straight away. Seeing alot of customers come to my shop with jailbroken iphones, and the performance of the iPhone drops dramatically.

I want to jailbreak mines but it just goes too slow for my liking!

yeah apparently a lot of stores dont care if you break it tho as long as you restore it. could I have got that 30% discount if I had gone through you?

Nope, even I am staff I HAD to wait for my upgrade date! They will let you upgrade a month earlier than your contract is due. Best thing is to call 202 which is the free number for customer services! And ask them when your upgrade date is and if its negotiable

By the way I would hold out I think there is an new iPhone out this Summer! Weve stopped getting some stock in etc... and alot of buzz in the company and mobile phone industry with Apple doing an big announcement this JUNE/JULY....theyve launched everything apart from a new iphone sooo...

Check this our guys, iPhone 2009 Pretty interesting info!!
