I'm looking at Ruby, Saphire, and Emerald.

Anyone play these?

Blue was the only one I ever played all the way through. I have Red, but I bought it back in the day just to cheat and trade myself Pokemon that you could only get in one version. And I had Yellow, but it stopped interesting me fast. And then I bought Gold and Silver and practically never played 'em. Not to mention the plethora of cards in a box somewhere in my house.

I remember buying Silver three months before release, in some shady game shop in Sweden. But I was mostly about the trading card game.

The Trading Cards became a currency of its own. That's what kept you going. I was the grand man of pokemon cards in my school, and thereby had a reputation to keep going. Although I played the Game Boy stuff like a fucking maniac too. It was a drug.

EDIT: TV show sucked.

I had pokemon blue, william had red, and yes I did get all 151 pokemon because I rule.

I also caught mew with a pokeball, even though I had a master ball.

I rule.

No point in getting Ruby and Sapphire since they're basically the same game with like a dozen different pokemon.

Getting one of those two plus Emerald is a good bet since Emerald is like the upgraded version: pokemon are animated in battle, shitloads of graphics updates, new areas and items and so on.

However, I reckon Fire Red and Leaf Green are by far the best choice, since they're Advance remakes of the original Red and Blue; and everyone knows those are the best Pokemon games ever made.

Fuck those, get FireRed or LeafGreen. They're remakes of Red and Blue and very well worth it, and there is a whole new area later in the game.

I RAPED fire red and leaf green, after reading about them I found out they don't have all the updates of the ruby or sapphire, they are just remakes with better graphics.

Looks like I'm getting emerald, it has all the shit of ruby and sapphire plus more.

Thanks nerds.

Pokemon was the shit!
Until they released over 200-300 pokemon, it's fucking ridiculous.
I had Red, Silver, and Sapphire(didn't really play it)
