If you're that bothered about space best thing to do is wipe the viphdd every few months or so.

go for it dude, im curious to know how much $$$ it'll bring in.

I think the spam bot front line is an enemy we are at battle with enough. We can't take much more.
30 November 2008, 20:31 UTC#34
if it was put in place I could see it bringing in good money, its not hard for us to click the adds once or twice when we are on, most of us just post then have this page minimized most of the time.
01 December 2008, 04:31 UTC#35
Well, you also can't talk about it either. They'll ban your account and you'll lose all your money if your forum members or you are talking about clicking ads.

Definitely don't click the ads if you're not actually interested in whats being advertised. Adsense uses stats to gauge the productivity of every click, and its extremely apparent when the clicks are fraudulent. Gary's account would get banned and the revenue would be forfeited.
I still think its worth testing out though, just to get an idea of what kind of $$$ this place could possibly bring in.
This place could be worth quite a bit. It's been online for almost 5 years and has hundreds of thousands of posts. The general subject of the site - filmmaking - is a pretty profitable one too. Just needs more traffic and an actual stream of revenue. Gary, I'd hire someone to do some SEO for this place. I would imagine you could get this place up to 10k/day eventually, and then it would be worth quite a bit.
I dont know shit about SEO but I do know one common trick... just have everyone on HGF link to this forum on their own sites using a certain keyword as the anchor. Choose a keyword that gets a lot of searches and hopefully you'll get ranked high for that keyword.
You can use Google.com/trends to see what keywords get the most searches. Id go for 'filmmaking'.
01 December 2008, 13:59 UTC#42
I think 'amateur' would be more popular than 'filmmaking'

when people search amateur, theyre looking for porn.

I have a better idea, lets copy whatever the fuck this guy is doing:
http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=854086buy 500 hardlinks with the anchor "adult dating", setup a single page site to push AFF and let the signups roll in.
guy makes 60k month and never has to update his site once. How many hardlinks would it take to get on page 1 for a keyword like that? 10k worth ought to do it right SEO god?

dunno man, batch bought hardlinks are usually on shit quality sites, I bought 200 hardlinks for mine and didnt notice much difference with quite a niche term.
stickers arrived, jacked them from the delivery office as the guy went to get some paperwork for me to sign out back haha.
