Well, I would say Dirty Sanchez is more insprational to me (read: more fun to rip off), but no one can deny that jackass is what got them started. Fuck all that whiskey-dudeson-tom green shit.

The only homegrown dvd I would watch over a new jackass movie, would be lsd riders, because I've never seen it, and others like it. Not to say that I ain't interested in many hg dvd's, but... When for example a hyped dvd like freak.inc gets bad reviews, it gives me doubts about other hg dvd's as well.

I just see it as people who wanna do their own thing on film to entertain others in - but not limited to - a low budget capacity.
Jackass are like the pioneers of Homegrown in my opinion and there is no real right answer to this as at the end of the day what Homegrown is comes down to what we make of it as individuals.
