I was watching it for ledger, not batman. I don't really like christian bale. him, the joker and two-face clashed really well and made the movie very enjoyable to me. that's why I find it amazing.

did you guys think two-face was that good? I think his make up or digital effect on his face was horrible. I think they over did it and it looked extremly fake. also im pretty sure they have a funeral at the end for him. do you know if hes dead? another thing the ending was really bad in this!

He's been 'acting' dead for a while then...deserves an Oscar for that dedication at least.

Loved when bat man breaks that guy's ankle.

Joker was mental as mental as I'd hoped he'd be.

Hated the impossible drop 'n live that every movie seems to have.

Hype aside, really fucking enjoyed this flick. Easily one of the best comic moves to date along with Sin City and Spider-Man 2. While I'm not certain Ledger's performance was runaway "zomg wow" Oscar-winning there's no doubt he was very good indeed and really made me sad that we'll never get to see him reprise the role. Bale continues to be a credit to the role of Batman, except his exaggerated gravelly tones did get a bit tiresome.

I liked the pacing and structure a lot: feels like with Batman Begins Christopher Nolan brought Batman back down to earth and re-established his credibility in movies after the disaster that was Joel Schumacher, and now with Dark Knight he's really flexing his muscles with the franchise.

The introduction of Harvey Dent was nice and didn't mar the movie with a cluttering of characters, as was the case in Spider-Man 3. I honestly can't really fault the script or the actors, since it was pretty much perfect in my eyes. An amazing movie that has raised the bar for comic book flicks, and I only hope Watchmen will look to match or beat it, when it drops next year.

movie kicks ass but everyone knew that

what I think is the best part besides its batman, is that ledger and bale are not from U.S.A. but there American accent impersonations are phenominal

I can do an American accent too.
But I'm alive.

I win.

Oh man I didnt think it would be THIS good! just came back from the teather... still letting it sink in aswell... so gooooooooooood.

imo. Bale's batman is as good as Ledger's Joker, acting performance vice. But Bale wins he's still alive.

http://www.holymoly.co.uk/news/28/johnny-d...-film-3842.html

oh man, I'm fucking stoked.

depp AND hoffman, I hope this rumor is true.

Hm, mebs. Depp is way over-exposed in my opinion: sure, he's an alright actor but he just seems to pop up everywhere. Maybe just me?

Also Penguin is the suckiest of all the suck villains. I have faith in Nolan since he's done such a stunning job so far, so maybe they'll pull him off, but seriously, never liked him. Who the fuck comes up with a penguin-based character? It's like something that should be in Austin Powers.
