got a hvx200... now it's time to sort out my editing setup after a bit of saving...

got a acer pc... current specs...

so I plan to get...

2gb RAM
1tb HDD

anything else I should get... processor?

and about the monitor is this good enough?

24" wide CrystalBrite LCD
1920 x 1200 maximum resolution
400 Nits brightness
3000:1 contrast ratio
2ms response time
Analogue
DVI and HDMI inputs

Don't bother with a maq.

Get 4GB of Corsair XMS2 RAM, Vista Home Premium, core2duo processor (core2quad if you can afford it) and 1TB HDD space.

That's a good system.
