looking good so far.. my suggestion is make the bg a colour not a pattern/texture and possibly darker colours than yellow and blue.. or darker shades at least..
other than that I think its a kick ass start.

I reckon replace the yellow with dark red, have a darker blue and black background. But that's juts me. I like that colour scheme on everything lol. Couldn't hurt to try though.

True, let's not underestimate the importance of fonts. When I was doing my publishing project last semester, it took me 3 weeks of intense research just to come up with headings, footers and body text. Don't even get me started on the front cover.

I think I finished the skin. Quite happy with this version. I will modify the banner tomorrow.

I mentioned before that you could try for a dark red insteed of the yellow, a slightly darker blue and a black background. But as I also said, I'm biased towards that colour scheme. Especially black and red...I dunno, it just looks cool

Ok just get rid of the stripes and use the darker colour of the two as backgrounds.
