New Skin

Ok so we aint going to be able to update till we get a skin sorted. We have decided to make our own. So far knowbody has helped me at all when I ask for ideas. So I juts improvised on the old Myspace layout.

I know people wont like this but its a start. Tell me your ideas and I can make a proper one.

Clearly this is only a portion of a skin.

I like, do it. Maybe change the background, I'm not feeling that. Needs to be slightly darker too.

if you need a hand, PM me man. I don't know much about skinning but I know I could do it.

Thanks Mike, I could use your help on this to be honest. Once we can pool a bunch of ideas together we could start on a proper version.

The only thing I don't care for is the striping, but I can live with it. I'd still post on here if the top banner was a dick.

I really like that, Matt. You did a pretty stellar job considering it was semi-thrown together. I'd be proud to be a mod of a forum that looked like that.

Yeah, like I said this aint even the template. Its just a random idea. I'll work more on it tonight, but its quite hard to do this from scratch guys, I could use ideas and input. Even if you google about for ideas, we can work from them. I work fulltime so any help is better than none.

Just that color of background minus the starts would look nice.

Excellent start, maybe tone down the stripes (more opacity), new BG, tone down the colours slightly and it will look awesome

I like it man but it looks like it would be a forum about space science with that background, I think it'd look better with like that background you showed me on that pink site of yours, like a wallpaper style thats real subtle or something.

I like it more then the other one, the colors are a bit bright, mabey a very small tone down on the colors and it would be good. I also like yates idea of the camera like on the myspace, mabey in the top left hand corner would look good.

EDIT: I like the color the way it is, after a second look.

It's pretty cool, as yates said, could definitely use a pic in the banner. And I also agree with the others who aren't keen on the background. It would be better just plain I reckon, without the patterns.

I know dick about creating designs/layouts/whatever, so my mere opinion is going to have to suffice.

Nice job Matt! But as Jones pointed out, something more discrete would be more appreciated. The lively background isn't really in my liking.. But nice work anyways
