And no I haven't seen it, but I read the graphic novel that sort of fills in the gaps of before, during and after Season 1 (conveniently bought for my girlfriend's birthday); it's fucking awesome, very very recommended to any fans of the show, if you can get hold of it.

Watching the duudsonit - ylpean hajy mahtiboksi, It's pretty gnarly, it's got five discs with every episode, but it's entirely in finnish, and there's no english subtitles or anything,so it does get a little bit confusing at tims.

Paris, Je T'Aime.

Pretty damn awesome in my opinion and not at all what I was expecting. For those that don't know, it's an ensemble movie comprising an amazing cast (Steve Buscemi, Willem Dafoe, Natalie Portman, Gerard Depardieu, Bob Hoskins, Elijah Wood, Maggie Gyllenhal and so on) and around twenty directors, each chipping in a short story set in Paris.

Some of the efforts are really progressive and unique; including a Sin City-esque turn involving a seductive vampire, and an actually deeply touching scene in which a gay guy finds his soulmate.

The cinematography is nothing short of amazing, and the talent involved with the project is simply stellar. On top of the actors listed above - around half of the total cast, mind you - you've got directorial efforts by the likes of the Cohen brothers and Wes Craven in there too.

Don't be mistaken by thinking this is a cookie-cutter French romance movie: it's profound and intelligent stuff, managing to actively break the mold but stay entertaining throughout. A great movie.

Fuck you, it was great. I recommend it to everybody.
