The Usual Suspects - 8/10 - First time. Totally knew the twist without even knowing I knew it. Goood movie. Kevin Spacey is sick.

I was looking forward to deadsnow but when I finaly got to watch it, meh...

that other movie needed a huge budget to be made for years they tried to get it, then last year a studio offerd like almost double they was asking for sayin its starting production soon ect, I checked up on it awhile ago to see if its finished and they had a message saying its scrapped, no movie. we give up. end of.

If you dont like Will Ferrell you will hate this movie. The movie itself is pretty ridiculous and I have to admit... pretty darn shit. But it has its hilarious moments which makes it worth it. I gotta say I enjoeyd it. Made me laugh that's all I expected as I didnt have very high hopes for the movie to begin with.

yeah I thought I was gonna hate that movie, but I'm such a danny mcbride and will ferrel fan I loved it.

inglorious basterds - fantastic.
slum dog millionaire - was awesome.
drag me to hell - very different.
fighting - wasn't bad, acting was a little poor in some parts. but I enjoyed this movie.
bruno - eh. somewhat boring.
push - was better than I expected, but so many holes in the story.

How so? I haven't seen it, but I'm trying to convince myself to see it, and I already have Ray's word on it being the best horror movie of the past 3 years

I didn't say it was the best. I did say it's legitimately good, though.

just different in the fact it didn't involve some lame serial killer or mentally retarded, perverted rednecks, like pretty much every mainstream horror movie released. very simple plot and story, but was executed pretty well.

Okay, what first threw me off that movie was the trailer because based on it, I was so sure that it was going to be the other type of modern horror movie, which is a ridiculously overedited, completely dependent on cheap thrills and superfluous CGI, and trying to scare the viewer in every scene. And that's not how you make a good horror movie in my opinion.

But I will have a look at this movie. From what I saw in the trailer, the idea was good however.

How about being creative and coming up with your own stories..

he made a real good point on the howard stern show about how the genre of horror is based a lot on the re-invention of old movies or ideas from older movies. like the dracula and mummy movies he watched as a kid were re-makes of dracula and mummy movies that were probably re-makes of even older movies based on those monsters.

I thought his halloween was the shit though, lots of titties.

Well yeah I'm not bashing the man since the first Halloween was quite good, but the man's starting to be like a cinematic cover band.

killing room - ok but could've been sooo much better.

Drag Me To Hell - Really liked it, some lame line in it, but was a much better horror film than whats been made in the last few yrs..
Ending was really good, actually didnt see it coming lol

I remember reading the book in highschool(10years a go atleast ) the movie stars such up-coming stars(at the time) as Swayze, Cruise, Dillon and Estevez. Also the karate-kid guy

The plot was pretty shit but I still liked the movie... had some nice moments and Patrick Swayze was awesome!
