No but it's always like that with movies that everyone hypes up. You should never listen to anyone praise a movie excessively unless you want to ruin the movie for yourself. Especially not with a movie like The Hangover. Cya Friday, Voday

Moon - really weird flick. The massive twist is revealed about 40 minutes into the movie (as if you haven't guessed it already) and the movie is less about the twist itself, and more concerned with how the characters react and accept the truth about their existence.
Sam Rockwell does an amazing job - without giving too much away, he seems to play two characters: one aggressively confident and one physically and emotionally weakened. He really puts his all into the role, and considering he never interacts with another physical actor the whole time he's on screen, it makes his performance that much more impressive.
Kevin Spacey is excellent in the role of GERTY, a multi-purpose robot whose main function is to provide companionship. Even though "it" communicates visually only through a series of animated emoticons, there was a real sense of connection and humanity in GERTY, similar to the experience of the Weighted Companion Cube in Portal. There's a great line where GERTY completely breaks protocol, risking total shutdown, and when asked why, replies "I only want to help".
(Also watch out for Matt Berry in a brief role).

The Happening - biggest load of wank ever. Evil plants making everyone in America commit suicide but they only get triggered when there's a big crowd around. lolwut. Even Zooey Deschanel couldn't save this dire piece of shit.

The new Friday the 13th film. I think loads of 1980's horror films were lost on me just because I watched them all when I was too old to really find it scary or exciting. I think that's why I really like most remakes of horror films because I loved the concepts but just couldn't get into them with the way they were shot and the lack of gore and full frontal to todays standards.
That girl who fucks the guy for like 20 minutes is amazing. Was basically a modern version of the old one, which didn't try to step any further out the box than the original. But that was good I thought.
