Yep, thats right - in the works right now is Descend 2 Flames 2 - or for short "D2F2" as will be the official title.

I am almost finished with the title/introduction. There is still a bit of filming to be done, but it won't be too awful long. I am not yet including a date of release, but when I have a date in mind, there will be a countdown on the D2F site ( www.eznom.net/s4/descend2flames ) as well as an update here.

Included on the DVD will be the infamous "Telephone", an almost 30 minute long short, as well as "Bread: The Tragedy" which won the hearts of 100s of loyal fans, as well as its sequel, "Bread II". Truly bizzare will be this DVD - it will be packed full of the best works of Descend 2 Flames. There will be tons of unseen footage, and other footage that has only been seen in internet clips, or as raw, unedited footage. We may even do some behind the scenes stuff to show just how some of this stuff comes about. I will also feature a new and improved version of The Flying Squirrel - re-edited clips such as "diaper flagging", and a shortened version of "Flip Out". "Shit Tire" will be remastered with much better audio as well as re-edited. Some of our best stuff yet, completely unseen by anyone aside from D2F members will also be in there.

I have a "skit" in mind that needs to be be completed still which I think will be an instant classic in the homegrown community.

I have to check with other members to see what they have to offer for this thing - I can almost guarantee they have something to contribute.

Either way, those of you who saw Descend 2 Flames - The Official Film know what we can do - and D2F2 will be putting that to shame for sure.

The trailer will be out shortly.

So don't miss it, it is coming. It will be at least 1 month - possibly 2 - but it is coming, and you will be sorry if you miss it!

Guys Mr.Safety deserves your respect. He's been around as long as homegrown has excisted. So stop making those same lame quotes about you confusing him with Mr.Safety Professional Idiot. I think everyone gets that by now. And actually a lot of people were confusing Mr. Safety Professional Idiot to Mr. Safety from D2F when he first registered here.

Oh don't you folks worry - sometime in the very near future, you will all see the video releases page just about a page long full of D2F re-release: It would have already happened, but my paycheck was unfortunately not received this pay period, due to an administrative error. Image file not present in the recovered backup I was going to upgrade my hosting account to have an ability to host videos - but now I have to wait until monday, when they are going to overnight my check for tuesday. I'm not pleased.

but anyway. the D2F Official Film is on sale at our site (see my sig) - but DON'T buy it just yet. I'm going to have a special discount price for HGF members - especially considering the sound quality on some of the extra clips is kind of bad, and need to be redone.. Sure, right now it comes up to 9.99 with shipping & handling charges - but that will be reduced, possibly by half. I'm still working on playing catch up.

Update:

After reviewing a lot of the fresher homegrown, I'm thinking I may have to push back the DVD until early next year, so I can get a chance to get some new footage. I will try to catch up with some of you guys - the scene has chanegd a lot since I was in it last.

I will, instead, modify the original Official Film - add extra content, etc and re-release that - along with all of the shorter films that we made before that (Are you ready for Safety, What a Waste of Tape, Pyro Night at Nathan's Vol 1 & Vol 2, etc.) as a packaged deal - all at a low price. This will have added bonuses - for instance, it will give you a chance, if watched in sequence, to get to know the D2F cast as well as a CKY fan might know the CKY group. It will give you a feel for the individual humor our group has - and will show you how we progressed since 1998.

The Official Film was basically a compilation of these films - but it lacked a TON of the original footage - so even those 15 or so that actually saw our Official Film will be delighted by the new footage - and even the official film will be different as it will be re-edited in a way aimed to please.

Sorry about the delay - but I feel that I need to get some work done before I can release a second DVD. Since I am now married, and have a baby boy, as well as have a more than full-time job, and being in the reserves - and therefore don't do a whole lot of stupid crap, it will be somewhat slow - but it will get here, I promise.

I would have put it out a lot quicker if I thought I was up to par. I used to be top dog - but now it seems I need to do some filming, and get some newer, better stuff. Don't get me wrong - I have a lot of good unreleased stuff - which is why I thought D2F2 wouldn't be long in the making - but it looks like I need to do more filming than I thought.

It dosn't mean he was top dog recently by any means. It's not like Big Fuck coming in and saying they were the most hardcore group while SPDST and PE were previouse to there debut. But D2F has been around for awhile.
