Nah, not at all. There is combat, obviously, but it's like an 80% focus on exploration and using the brush (where you paint using the analogue stick) to alter the world and help people and that sort of thing.
It's just awesome, I'm about three hours in and it's one of the best games I've ever played. Right up there with Final Fantasy VII, no doubt.

I'm digging that paint stroke idea. You ever see that game were you like painted your own creatures that you fight?

I can only play PS1 games on mine cause it's the 40 gig model, the 60 gig is fully backwards compatible plus comes with a sd memory card drive.

what about the mosquito game where you fly around and suck peoples blood...I think its a japanner game, but I always wanted to play it

Yeah man I used to play that Azure Dreams all the time, it's pretty good that big ass tower of like 100 floors and all the eggs you can make into monsters, it's a classic.

The original is the shit, my grandma bought me all the episodes on VHS once for me and my bro (at a mexican flea market) it was like Christmas every hour for a couple days.
