Completely different types of shooter tho, and when reviews are completely subjective it wont have any effect on how I enjoy flashpoint. No doubt I'll get Mw2 as well, but Flashpoint is something I been looking forward to for ages.

I'll heard absolutely nothing about it. Watched the video on XBL yesterday and it looks pretty good but has that standard PC war game feel to it and all the environments look bland. I'll probably buy it though as something to keep me entertained until MW2 since Batman fucked me over.

It's awesome, just the right combination of actual autobiography and dark hilarity.

"If I'd spent the time that I've spent thinking about sex on thinking about physics I could be world famous by now. For punching my way out of a bank vault with my robot tentacles."

"I first came when I was nearly 12. This was the night before we went on our summer holiday to Ireland. I spent six weeks locked in the bathroom wanking until my cock was a tattered pink flag of surrender."

haha, I hate it. selling on ebay as we speak.

lol. Got your message while playing it yesterday. It's so fucking glitchy and crap at times, but at other times I find it fucking awesome. When it actually works properly it's exactly what I was hoping for...but the problem is alot of the time it don't work. haha. Going to give it time myself, hopefully a patch will sort it out.

Glitches that make you not be able to progress in the missions. Eg. I was meant to secure this area that a helicopter was to land in, I killed everyone then got my guys to the landing point and it wouldnt recognise that I had taken the area, ran around for ages seeing if there were anyone hiding and there wasnt. Started again.

You can hit enemies like 3 or 4 times and they will keep running along full speed shooting everyone. (its meant to be a military sim).

The talking between the characters is very disjointed and sometimes they cut out half way through sentences.

Animations of dying enemies are terrible and they will regularly switch between standing up and lying down instantly.

And generally the graphics are not tht good, but that can be forgiven due to the size of the environment.

But despite all that, when you get into a proper fire fight, or set up an ambush or something and it all goes to plan and there are glitches that don't destroy the game too much, it is fucking amazing.

Just overall feels unfinished, like a beta....that I had to pay £30 to join. haha. But like I said, it's a great game at times and hopefully a patch will sort out the glitches soon.

Yet to try multilayer as apparently that's even more glitchy.

I downloaded one of his specials but his accent made it impossible to casually listen while smoking.

Will check this out though, not enough good stand ups out there.

Yeah I did loved it, you don't hear many dark comics in america. He's really great at those one liners.

Is that a more common style of comedy in europe or is he just real original?

I wouldn't call him the first guy to ever do dark humour but he's certainly the most prolific in the UK right now. Basically every panel and quiz show wants to get Frankie Boyle on board.

I really can't stand Frankie Boyle, all he talks about is celebrities and just likens them in some really elaborate way to genitals or animals.

Was so bored of his standup by half way.
