Haha, nah, I think its good idea if its for online purposes mainly. 2-3minutes of footage per group and 10-15 groups, that would make 20-45 minutes worth of footage that sounds quite right for this kind of clip/dvd/thingy.

I like how every group could make actual fysical dvd´s out of the iso files and distribute them to friends and relatives. And how it could entertain thousands of internet users.

Making it non profitable is noble Image file not present in the recovered backup And would terminate all the greed related problems and byrocratic ones.

Its good, I want to be in it.

But I think it should be well organised before it could be done. Every group that takes part should know waht kind of part they are making. Because to make interesting and keep it flowing it needs alterantion, some can do fastpaced segment but to counterbalance that it needs also slow segments. Probably segments without any music, perhaps with more footage of setting up a bigger stunt and aftermath of it, to break the mixup feeling of the whole clip. And defiantly some skits and pranks.

Hahah, owned  :

Definitley man, but should we have one editor, or everyone edit their own?

One editor would definitley flow a lot better, but would lack the group's original style.

I think we should have a few good editors for the groups who doesnt have good editing skills

but if a group wants to edit on their own its their descision...I for one want to edit our own part

I think every group should edit their own. I dotn it would as cool if tehre wouldnt be every groupd original style. That way it would be better "introduction to HG" as hgc was ment to be.

edit: I dotn know if we want groups that dont edit their own segements... I mean only half evolved groups cant edit their stuff good enough and I dotn think we should fit at least more than 15 groups in the dvd.

Sorry, gaiz, dont want to sound like elitist but...

How long should each group's section be? 3-4 min?
10 June 2006, 14:56 UTC#43
Something like that yeah.
10 June 2006, 14:59 UTC#44
I think it should be decided after we know how many groups take part. I think 45 minutes is definatly the maximum length, otherwise it gets numb feeling. But it also should be more than 25minutes... at least 27mins

And some groups could probably submit two 1minute clips, or mixup and one minuteclip or... anyways you get the drift: those would include like one stunt without music, or sutnt or some random thing, just to give viewer breath taking break from the mixups.

And then some "short" skits. Not more than 4minutes long.

All groups interested can make a section and submit it. After that we can vote for the best sections.

10 June 2006, 15:03 UTC#46
I dotn think that would work for the dvd as whole, it wouldnt be organised. It needs clear plan that groups would start complete.

Im willing to have a shorter section. I want to have a badass section, but at the same time I don't wanna throw out alot of unseen footy.

If people wanna edit their own stuff then they can, if they would prefer someone else to edit then thats cool??

But once we get an idea of whos submitting and what not we can give each editor a part to edit, like your groups part will be around the middle, you know, so people have an idea that way it shoul work.
Shoudln't be too hard to make it flow.

Also, if people think there group doesn't have enough decent footage then they should just send all of what they think is the best stuff and have someone edit the beginning montage.... mixed with everyones footage, so they at least have a few clips in... this will be like the intro.

Good ideas?
Can't wait too see this.

Yeh, baz is cool, and would be devoted. I say he will put it together from the segments people send him. And could edit the intro and credits too, if he dont ahve his own part to edit.

I think m0n0 is best for cover and menu design in this case...`?

Mono are Adem yeah. made is good too.
10 June 2006, 17:16 UTC#53
I'd edit for anyone if they wanted me too but of course, groups get first choice.

And yeah, Mono should definately edit or design something for it, he's awesome at both....

We need an estimate amount of people who are sending footage to people and who are down to edit...

Yeah I wouldn't mind if someone else edited our shit. It'd be cool. And I'm all for the DVD.

Could we sell them to and split up the profit? I mean, maybe each groups get a couple DVDs and sell them or somethin? Just an idea I guess, if not, it's cool.

nope...how many HG dvds have been talked about over the years. it needs to be a team effort and not many here can get there own dvds done ffs, let alone working with others. its a great idea but isnt practical with these involved.
