Homegrown Mix Tape?

I was thinking, like Webby had suggested in another thread, that we make a compilation of all the best footage that people have released, with their consent of course. They could send in high quality versions of unedited footage to whichever editor they feel they could trust. It would be the ultimate video to introduce people to homegrown. It could be edited by a bunch of our best editors and just be fucking awesome the whole way through.

As for credits, I think we should just throw a list of sites at the end, so anyone interested can come check out more. Or we could just throw "homegrownforums.com" on there, so everyone benifits equally.

Anyways, if anyone's interested speak up. I just figured if I didn't make the thread, nobody else would.

it could definately help alot of groups at the same time. if everybody on the forum works together in some aspect, granted their experise, it would be phenomenal.

Fuck, I was gonna make a mega edit of loads of HG footage at the end of the year, wanted it too be a surprise.

BUT, this way works out soo much better.
So, will this be an online clip like?
How would this work?... like a bunch of editors editing like 5 different scenes.... how will we put it all together so it works out?

Maybe if we set it out as we would in a DVD.
Each editor is given a basic "thing" like so people know how to edit it, like say you will edit the intro, your gonna edit around the middle, yours will be edited more mixup style, yours will be the end edit... catch my drift?

When I get my footage back, I'll be down to submit some shit.

I think it'd be cool if each group edited their own, but if their editing blew, they could ask someone else to?

But yeah, we could have a divx rip for online, and all groups could get a link to download the iso file of the actual disc, so if they have a burner they could make copies and sell em around town/give em out to friends.

we could have one of the PS Masters make a cover in which all the groups could print off...so they don't have to push cd cases.

I know we have a few clips worthy, but I don't have a cam so I can't capture on and I'm pretty sure the tapes are dead now... haha.

How long do you think this will be? we should definately put the whole thing online, like 40mins of killer footage...

30-40 min would be good. Any more than an hour would probably get boring.

depends on whether or not we mixed in things like skating, pranks, skits, etc.

As long as it's killer footage it wont get boring.
And judging by the groups on here and the amount of possible footage we will get.... we could do hours.
