I thought we had a cup discussion going on in here

It's now 3-2 to Carolina. I still hope for the Oilers to take home the cup!

Shame that Edmonton is gonna win the Cup in Raleigh.

Dvorak should have scored on that 3 on 1. That would've been a sweet goal

Anyway, soon Canada get's the Cup back after a 13 year break or whatever it is by now. Go Oilers!

haha fuck the haters, Canes won that shit.

I actually got into this, I watched all of the last 5 games. I was gonna be fucking pissed if the Canes let the Oilers come back and win the come after being down 3-1 in the series.

You guys don't even have any cool players :)

The cup should've gone to the Oilers and the mvp to Pronger/Pisani!

This is wrong!

what is funny though is that it wasn't a big deal around here either. half the state doesn't even know we have a hockey team! Im sure Canada would of went on riots and shit.

Haha I know what you mean. The last time the Hurricanes were in the play-offs a couple of years back against Detroit your state didn't seem to give a shit about your teams success but when the Canes were finally in the finals ready to win something, everyone was all dressed up and cheering for random players from the team eventhough they probably didn't even know the sport they were cheering.

Everyone loves the winner I guess :)

And Eric Staal is a cool player, I give you that

yeah I kinda fit into that stereotype. I just figure hey, my state is in the finals, might as well cheer them on. I don't act like Ive been a hXc fan all along though or anything.

Haha I didn't mean that in a bad way dude. Of course you should be cheering for your state no matter what eventhough you aren't the biggest fan. I get you 100%

It's like all of Finland (including me gotta admit :S) went nuts when Lordi won the Eurovision songcontest with Hard Rock Hallelujah haha

And I hate that songcontest

hah yeh I dislike soccer aswell, but I heard on tsn that Ecuador was playing someone.. and cumon, who doesn't want to see Ecuador do good? My devotion to the canucks goes as far as having canuck salt and pepper shakers  Think their new coach will make any difference? I know in the CHL it made a difference for the Moncton Wildcats cause they went from almost last to first in a year and lost in the mem cup finals

As soon as Canucks get a good goaltender they will go far. They have two top notch offensive lines and a bunch of good defensemen as well. Actually they should've done much better this year with that line-up..

I can't wait for next season either. Carolina ruined this season for me haha
