Tell him to come on here.
I'm wondering, if I were to film someone doing drugs of some sort, would I be able to use that footage without them getting arrested or bothered by the cops.
I am here, I have been quite busy as of late working another job on top of my regualr one to get some money to move out of parents house. I get on like once a day to check the portal for anything that I would respond to, and happened to miss this thread, sorry.
As for your tape, it is legal evidence of a crime until the statute of limitations is up. Statute of limitations is the amount of time that must pass (ie 6 months) from when the crime was committed until it is no longer chargeable. The more serious the crime, the longer the statute of limitations. They vary from state to state, and depending on the drugs being used I would say a year would be a safe bet. Hope this answered it.
Sorry for the bump, but I was wondering, how could you actually prove when the video was shot? I mean, if you didn't have the date/time thing turned on then how could they tell? Or what if you did turn it on and set the date back to look like everything you've videotaped was shot several years ago, so it would appear as if the statue of limitations was already up for the crimes you've committed (as long as they were minor infractions)? Would this provide a way to film illegal footage and release it sooner, albiet the date and time shit in the corner of the video is rather annoying?
Many ways, if we can identify any sort of things that were going on around the area that would be unique to a time period, if you can identify a witness through the tape and ask them what they saw, if it matched with a string of police reports...ect... so many ways.

Oh yeah, I thought of another question.
What's the most someone can get punished for non threatening prank calls?
Harassment

Haha, not bad for just starting out.
I still don't understand why they need to send out so many cops for almost any situation.
Cause you never know what your going to. One sucidal man here tried to shoot 4 cops. The person who called knows whats going on, but we dont. I am not gonna risk my life assuming "its nothing" and welcome all the backup I can get.

Away to justify there over expanded budget
Image file not present in the recovered backupWe get paid the same if we go to zero calls in a night or 23.
