Tell him to come on here.

I'm wondering, if I were to film someone doing drugs of some sort, would I be able to use that footage without them getting arrested or bothered by the cops.

I would think that you wouldn't be allowed to use it since it's illegal but I could be wrong.

Althought it cant be proved that it was infact the proper drug? Like say it was staged or not a real drug?

Same with drinking aint it, they cant prove from video that it is actually alcohol someone is drinking?

If I'm wrong then the police should have done me for stuff on my PC.

So if I said they smoked some tobacco, it's okay?

Well I had some pictures of a mate with what appears to be a joint. But at the end of the day I could turn around and say it was a role up that looked like a joint. And what can they prove?

Nothing, but couldn't it lead to some sort of investigation?

would the video be enough evidence for them to get a warrant?

I am here, I have been quite busy as of late working another job on top of my regualr one to get some money to move out of parents house. I get on like once a day to check the portal for anything that I would respond to, and happened to miss this thread, sorry.

As for your tape, it is legal evidence of a crime until the statute of limitations is up. Statute of limitations is the amount of time that must pass (ie 6 months) from when the crime was committed until it is no longer chargeable. The more serious the crime, the longer the statute of limitations. They vary from state to state, and depending on the drugs being used I would say a year would be a safe bet. Hope this answered it.

Sorry for the bump, but I was wondering, how could you actually prove when the video was shot? I mean, if you didn't have the date/time thing turned on then how could they tell? Or what if you did turn it on and set the date back to look like everything you've videotaped was shot several years ago, so it would appear as if the statue of limitations was already up for the crimes you've committed (as long as they were minor infractions)? Would this provide a way to film illegal footage and release it sooner, albiet the date and time shit in the corner of the video is rather annoying?

For a prank call? Assuming it's not easy to trace, I doubt they'd take the time to "investigate".

Haha, not bad for just starting out.

I still don't understand why they need to send out so many cops for almost any situation.

Many ways, if we can identify any sort of things that were going on around the area that would be unique to a time period, if you can identify a witness through the tape and ask them what they saw, if it matched with a string of police reports...ect... so many ways.

Cause you never know what your going to. One sucidal man here tried to shoot 4 cops. The person who called knows whats going on, but we dont. I am not gonna risk my life assuming "its nothing" and welcome all the backup I can get.

We get paid the same if we go to zero calls in a night or 23.

Yates...wanna know a little tip to get free detergent?

Go into public restrooms/ mcdonalds whatever and just kick theirs off, or sometimes you can open it with a car key...
