Hey Domm,

I think they are right about you getting an expencive camera.. your just not ready.

Someone already said this, but I'll say it again.

Take the $1500 you wanted to spend on that DVC30 and buy 2 DV camecorders for $400....

Then get 2 bags, 1 tripod, a better video card (if you don't have one already), some wireless mics (if your camera is compatible), and a shit load of tape. Even after buying all these things, you should have enough left over to play with (for costumes, props, ect).

Another reason you shouldn't buy a high priced camera is because you may not know how to use it to it's full potential.. That would be like buying a Playstation2 just to watch DVDs.
