cool review and honest. you share some of my same opinions. every viewer will like a different group more than the next viewer. everybody will like something different.
with HGC DVD # 2 things will be stepped up a notch for sure. I'm doing everything I can to have the best music, better editing, better everything. I just need the groups out there on this board and the internet to contact me and lets make it happen. I can't make this happen by myself, I need you guys involved.
also, I'm going to release the new trailer on friday or on monday with the "famous" song so I hope that all of you are pleased with the finished product. it will be some of the same footage from previous trailers but presented in a more artistic style that I personally like doing and you will notice a difference. my style of directing is hard to do at times with certain productions but we're going to try this out and make this next trailer something special.
if you guys like this then I will have more of a hands on job in editing in terms of trying to make the next hgc dvd more emotional, because this next trailer, if done the way I want it done, it might bring a tear to some of your eyes and that is my goal. I want to make you guys like this trailer so much, it makes u cry. I want to bring out emotions in people.
and yes elliot, so you don't need to ask, I do have at least 8 other trailers completed but I don't want to release them. I don't feel releasing them will help the dvd any so im taking another approach, im going to take the hgc dvd advertisements and im going to add a little bit of moody to it, just like a cook would add some salt or pepper, then its up to you guys to tell me if you like how it turns out...
its coming friday and in my opinion, it's going to put a smile on a lot of people's faces and I hope it makes a few of you cry.
hmm, don't worry, I will make pt.2 worthwhile.

no, there will be a lot of groups involved. some more old school groups that you guys don't know about or have forgotten about, some of the same groups as the first dvd, more groups from this forum and other groups from outside of this forum.
it's a nice mix of footage from all over the place, countries all over the world.

I think we already have about 10 groups in the new HGC DVD at least. Pretty much we just want to collect as much footage as possible from all the groups that want to be involved. If there's a lot of groups involved, we will have your group on DVD # 2 or DVD # 3 or both if you have a lot of good footage.
I want every group involved if possible but its up to you guys. I need all the footage in possession within 4 weeks.
Even for HGC3?!

I dont know if its a hypnotic voice but I know the dvd business better than anybody here will ever give me credit for and I don't sit here writing about the dvd business and all the troubles and problems I can prevent you, but I can tell you about all of that over the phone much easier. the dvd business is a dirty game and if one of the groups from this board drops a dvd by themselves directly to a distributor that you never worked with before, I'd be willing to bet that you will get fucked over in the deal financially. I know all the bullshit and all the games, I've been doing this for 6 + years. so when I explain this kind of stuff to people on the phone, they listen and really quick they decide to be involved with me.

it wouldn't be fair... here's why:
1. I have much more to lose than him because the recorded verbal bashing audio file could spread online, and elliot is nobody. I am at least somebody.
2. he probaby has a cool accent like russel crowe so that decreases my odds before the verbal bashing begins. I have a stoner southern cali voice, and im a mellow guy, im not some obsessive drunked aussie.
3. I would probably go insane during the debate trying to defy science and figure out a way to reach through my phone to choke elliot and kick him in the balls a few times. so I've decided to save this verbal debate until we as a society invent "star trek" technology so that I can just teleport myself to australia and beat the shit out of elliot and his kids everyday and ill make sure to link to the videos on this forum so you guys can enjoy all of it.
