shortbus is broken up, no website, but one of their members continued to shoot footage and his footage from the past couple of years will be showcased. I had been sitting on that short bus footage for like 3 years and finally with the hgc footage I had a way to use it.

who gives a shit doesn't have a website. they will have another homegrown section in dvd # 2 or # 3

everybody else in the dvd you guys know.

I owned hollymood.com about 7 years ago when I knew that was what I would call my company one day. I ended up going to college, hollymood was put on the back burner and somebody else bought the domain name a few years ago.

I offered the owner a deal before but through the system I have to use to contact him, he doesn't have to reply and it costs me $30 to make an offer each time.

to be honest, I don't need hollymood.com but ill own it again one day.

the owner of the domain name is privately listed. you have to pay to contact him as far as I know.

seriously, no review online has given this dvd justince except for 1 review I feel. a lot of time was spent adding the sound effects and all the little things that I guess go unnoticed in dvd reviews.

just got my copy today..
so heres my fuckin review..
I'm going to pick favorites and be biased also.

trailer park mafia - I enjoyed the fire work stunts they were amusing. smoking the dredlock was fuckin sick. bong full of scabs was disgusting

asstreme - some okay skating, nice sized bush jumps, I like rollerbladers getting pasted with the extinguisher. nothing too good.

ghost monkeys - little kids skate bails , only thing that really made me laugh was the skateboard on the bus

muppets - one of my favs.. love the car shit.. the dirtbike run is fuckin hilarious... insane fuckin flame barrel shit... dont know what they were trying to do but pretty rank shit occured

arse marks - I like when the guy got hit in the face with the bat, it made me smile. I also enjoyed buddy smashing the xmas tree ornaments on his fore head. the "blowing the fuck out of the microwave" part is one of my fav peices of the dvd.

who gives a shit - haha very well done, funny shit. I love how the mom helped get that guy to eat the shit. eat my penis sale, haha. good work

death vs redneck boy - backyard wrestling stuff is always good, pretty nice reversals. the "shard" of glass in his forehead.... calm the fuck down its smaller than a grain of sand. the burn lick was pretty beautiful. 3rd degree burns should always be licked.

short bus - my 2nd favorite segment on the dvd. rite from the opening scene I was laughing my ass off. the part where he tricked his boss the second time and boss pushed him was beautiful. haha . fatty fatty was absolutely disgusting. haha the megaphone was good too.

dan g - grew up three houses away from this fucker. by far my favorite segment of the dvd, as it features locations from all over swan river manitoba. soo much blood, thumb tacks and dry humor. laughed threw the whole thing.

overall - if the objective of this dvd was to put out awareness that underground stunts are here to stay, then it was accomplished. this compilation gives a true look into the world of underground stunts without the steve-o and jackass bullshit. I love how it shows different areas and each group has their own identity, [backyard wrestling, fireworks, flameblowing, skateboarding]

I enjoyed this film probobly as much as those who were involved did making it. great work.

but I think we could all step it up a notch for round 2 ;)

cool review and honest. you share some of my same opinions. every viewer will like a different group more than the next viewer. everybody will like something different.

with HGC DVD # 2 things will be stepped up a notch for sure. I'm doing everything I can to have the best music, better editing, better everything. I just need the groups out there on this board and the internet to contact me and lets make it happen. I can't make this happen by myself, I need you guys involved.

also, I'm going to release the new trailer on friday or on monday with the "famous" song so I hope that all of you are pleased with the finished product. it will be some of the same footage from previous trailers but presented in a more artistic style that I personally like doing and you will notice a difference. my style of directing is hard to do at times with certain productions but we're going to try this out and make this next trailer something special.

if you guys like this then I will have more of a hands on job in editing in terms of trying to make the next hgc dvd more emotional, because this next trailer, if done the way I want it done, it might bring a tear to some of your eyes and that is my goal. I want to make you guys like this trailer so much, it makes u cry. I want to bring out emotions in people.

and yes elliot, so you don't need to ask, I do have at least 8 other trailers completed but I don't want to release them. I don't feel releasing them will help the dvd any so im taking another approach, im going to take the hgc dvd advertisements and im going to add a little bit of moody to it, just like a cook would add some salt or pepper, then its up to you guys to tell me if you like how it turns out...

its coming friday and in my opinion, it's going to put a smile on a lot of people's faces and I hope it makes a few of you cry.

How many groups are going to be in HGC2 before it is 'full' and the rest of the footage is for HGC3?

Does that make sense?
11 May 2006, 19:12 UTC#176
I think hes paying the editor to edit like 20 groups sections in one run.

then they split them into 10 each for HGC 2
saving the other 10 for HGC 3

featuring 5 medicore groups & 5 hardcore groups in each DVD

thats the impression iv got so far

I think we already have about 10 groups in the new HGC DVD at least. Pretty much we just want to collect as much footage as possible from all the groups that want to be involved. If there's a lot of groups involved, we will have your group on DVD # 2 or DVD # 3 or both if you have a lot of good footage.

I want every group involved if possible but its up to you guys. I need all the footage in possession within 4 weeks.
