Excuse me if I disagree, but this head is definitely made with Facegen and not modeled by yourself. I know this because I already used this program a few months ago :)
It's a good start but you have to invest much work to make the head look less artificial.
It's the same problem with Poser models. They all look like clones.

I like the push-one-button abilities of the program but you should definitely learn how to model a head polygon by polygon. :)
The only thing you might learn from using Facegen is how the main muscles in the face are directed. Simply switch to wireframe view and watch the polygon flow.

Man, you can do better by yourself, believe me. And the satisfaction after having modeled a head by yourself is bigger than seeing your own head made by Facegen, believe me.

Which version did you use? 3.1?

hey man

where were you all the week? :D

yeah I made it with facegen 3.1 then took it to lightwave to add details

made some cuts and tried to work on the ears and the nose...no luck on the ears though :(

tried to change the eyes to look more real...no luck aswell...I will have to excercise a little bit longer

but as I said its the first stage...now I can make changes to it :)

its hard to model from scratch but sometime I will try that when il get all the skills needed :D

I'll start my GAIM in a few minutes.
I made a modeling vid of making a head in 1:50 hours. It's realtime and only the ears are missing because they are the most complicated part of the head. The model is rather low poly oriented and the polygon flow is not optimal but you can see how poly modeling works.
The video is 400 MB but I'm recompressing it. I'll upload it later, you can get it then from megaupload then.

Nice! The video will be around 55 MB or so. I recompressed it with the high quality-high compression x264 codec. It is used in HD-DVD's and Quicktime7 HD
If you got playback problems because of a missing codec, simply download the free VLC player here:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

See you in a few minutes, pal.

Here's the link of my head modeling process in realtime.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RMX9W6WR

The video size is 57MB @ 640x480 pixels. You need either a x264/h264 codec or the free VLC player from www.videolan.org to watch this video. I used the codec for it's excellent size versus quality properties.

The polygons aren't aligned very well. It was only a demonstration to a total noobie how polymodeling works. There are many times episodes where nothing special happens or I don't seem to do any sensible action. Just skip those parts of the video. This is not a serious tutorial but a realtime modeling show, if you want. :)

Hopefully happy watching!

What do you mean?
I don't know all slang vocab, unfortunately.
You surely don't mean the breakfast stuff , right?
Wordplay with "Serious" , maybe?
Or as in "Cereal Killer"?

Just tell me, dude. :)
