How are you writing footage to computer? What Hardware/software do you use?

we're using the most recent version of final cut pro for the production.

homegrown collection # 1 was edited on avid.

all of my future dvds will also be released as HD video dvds, so I'm not sure if homegrown collection 2 & 3 will be in HD but soon, my dvds will be HD.

my editors have a lot of software, computers, sound effects, etc...

we have everything we need.

Oh n o I was just wondering what equiptment you use to get the DV tapes onto comp because I doubt you use a firewire. I wanna get something to write tapes to comp is all.

just use your camera and your firewire.

there something else out there called a mojo but I don't use it, one of my editors uses it.

Rob, can't you access HGF on your PC normally? Or do you need to use that proxy all the time?

I can access it on my mum\'s laptop (which is wireless so runs off the same IP as my PC, so it\'s not an IP problem). Can\'t access HGF on my pc without proxy though, it just refuses to load.

Strange, do me a favour. Go to start > run type "cmd" then in the terminal type "tracert homegrownforums.com > C:\hgf.txt" (without the quotes) and paste the output here.

You can also try clearing your browsers cache, history and cookies which may sort the problem.

Then it definately is not a problem with your PC connecting to the server, in which case try my suggestion regarding clearing your browsers histoiry, cache and cookies. Otherwise you can use another browser to access HGF as I can imagine using that PHP proxy shiz must be rather annoying.
