You cant expect everyone to be like SPDST. Some of the new groups are doing what they think is a fun time. Theres no point in bashing them because of it. I mean...ya gotta start somewhere....

In a way very true....sometimes when your out filmin the things people say on here stick in your mind and makes you second guess what your doing....Because people dont like being bashed for bad footage and some people look too this place for releasing there footage. And tryign to live up to everyones expectations is hard to do especially when it draisn all the fun out of filmin....This use to happen to us when we started here. We finally just said fuck it and started filmin what we wanted to and how we wanted to. but for the new guys its hard.

An the only way for people to get some recognition for there shit is to get msn get everyones msn ids and start talking to everyone on the forums.....if they like you as a person they take time to read your posts....if they dont they dont care what you say....I rarely go on msn and talk to people from here...so I rarely get any feedback fromt higns I say...I dont really care but people who first start off here dont know that thats a way to become known and be friends with people on here.....We are so demanding for what a group should and shouldnt be...its insane...we dont let new people in...jsut shove em away

Without getting into a fight it is quite easy to see why he is pissed off. You got a com he wanted thehunt4.com as a joke (very funny lol) and when he asked if he could get it back you said no.
All he wanted to do was carry on his hunt like always and I guess he got pissed because hefeels like heworked on it andworked hard on HGV.

About the him making HGV out of spite, he was working on hgv long before hand right? He has his own site, therefore he has a right to his own forums, eh? Just like Boredom Induced had their own forums, just like any other group with a forum. They had a site, and made a forum for it.


He didn't make it out like "JOIN MY FORUMS THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER" or anything. For the most part, users post in BOTH forums if they are in both. It's not dividing the community, this godforsaken war caused by you not selling him his domain is.


Also, like someone else pointed out, not all the members there are members here. There are some regulars who are joining there who have never even heard of this place, therefore it's becoming popular on its own.


People are also joining it for The Hunt alone. I, myself, call it "The Hunt Forums" when I talk to my friends.

I remember back way back when, when TH3 was here, if anyone made a mention of it outside the little section, people would freak out at them. I know I was one of the people attacked.

HG is a scene with lost of members these members have minds of their owns and choose what to do... ...and for instance where they wanna post. Most homegrowners are loyal to HGF because its the good old forums that the great Gman created.

But when questionable stuff happens and people act in childish and preposterous ways the homegrowners might find (an) other places(forums) to contribute to.




I like HGF but what is most important for me is a good, healthy and growing HG scene.
