stop the fighting

whats going on with the scene lately??

WKH banned, people who like posting at HGV more are banned. its getting silly. when ever a new member signs up here people ask does he have a group or any video? when replyed 'no im just a fan of hg or group' people show no respect to them or tell him to come back when they have somthing to show....

how the fuck is the home grown scene going to get any bigger if we're not lettin anyone in?

its only going to get smaller. HGV start ups. gets groups more exposior. starts its own forum and I see people complaining its tearing the HG scene apart...I dont see it like that at all. its expanding it...making it bigger...isnt that the goal? the only thing thats going to tear HG apart is the admins from the two sites fighting.

if both are cool & friendly with each other then everyones happy and gets on. sure you get afew people who like fighting to get reactions out on anyboby (B.J. & Buck) but with them gone its a better place. banning the fuck ups is ok but banning people for posting at a different site isnt logical, even if you dont like who the person is for personal issues no need to cut them out of HGF and make HGV rivals. making people pick sides when we should be 1 side. 1 force together and expand on that as a team.

agreed for the most part. I agree with Buck gone, but I liked BJ.

some people like buck & BJ, but the thing is they was only here to promote themselfs, start fights and be jerks. hardly ever helped anyone else out but themselfs and help there ego's grow and look down on others...which we dont need

The HGV site is what the scene has needed for ages. However, in my opinion it would have been perfect to have this place as the forums as HGV forums just seem a replica to this place.

Pretty much sums up how I feel. The site is great but the forums unnessecary and were destin to cause conflict.

I don't see HGVF as a threat to this place in any way, all the forums about homegrown are linked to this place anyway arn't they?

I can see why Tom would want his own forums, it's his website, surely he should be able to have a forum where he has some control over what is being posted. Plus if it was direct linked to this place, and people were posting loads of shit just about HGVF people here will start moaning.

Don't get me wrong though im not taking anyone's side here, I can also see how people think HGV having a forum is dividing the community but I don't think it is, and if it is I don't think that it was intentional.

All this shit really needs to be resolved before it gets out of hand.

I really like this place and don't ever plan on leaving, I'm on here practically every hour that im awake, but if everyone is being banned then what is their to stay for? A forum ain't gonna work without members.

Another thing is with all the banning of people. Banning annoying fucks etc. then yeah fair enough, but just because some poeple like HGVF more is stupid. But it's weaks forum so he can ban who he likes I guess.
Also the more people who are banned, thats just gonna drive people away, if a poster who is liked isn't around no more but is on HGVF then people will start posting there more to read their posts, resulting in people coming here less often.

I don't think there is really any rivalry between the two at the moment but if this is left much longer there will be and its gonna fuck the whole community over.

Im sure no one wants rivaly between the two.

I know not many people will give a fuck about my opinion because im not exactly an extrodinary charecter, I just blend in and am just seen as another member of the board but I care alot about the scene and these forums and don't wanna see everything turned to shit.

So come on people, arguments that can be resolved, resolve them.

I agree with everyone else, well like Webb said BJ only really wanted too promote B-I, or on some days he would just be a dick, start fights.

Just having HGF as THE forum would of been alot better, but I don't think we can go back too doing that now, but that would of been better.

Everything that has happened, wouldn't of happened if HGVF was never created, if The Hunt, HGV where both linked too here, there would be nothing else too spawn a "split"

If people have really been banned for liking HGV more than HGF that is fucked up.

The thing that is killing the scene is the fact new groups suck, mostly because Homegrown Requires creativity and most groups honestly arn't creative and would rather copy another's idea than think of there own.

I think only weak is banned from HGF but afew MODS from HGV have been banned from here from what I read.

All new groups suck. All groups that are new to the forums but have been filming for a longer time dont suck but there arent many of that kind.

We need to make the new groups see what makes a good HG video by giving them good reviews on their videos.

Yeah, basically I mean if HGV Forum, was never created, I don't think there would of been a problem, well not like this one.
But I like the idea of the Hunt and HGV, no doubt.

Also, I agree about the new groups, I think posting a more longer review of their video would help out, it makes them seem like we actually care (which we do really) but if they get a long review, maybe they will think wow, these guys know there shit, I wanna film some more stuff too impress them

Everyone's first vid sucks, but if there second, third, fourth video suck or are mediocre because they copied stunts then it's fucked.
