I was thinking of getting a tattoo on my forearm tomorrow but I'm not really sure If I should get it on the bottom of my forearm or on my arm.

I'm getting a cool Celtic/Tribal Cross. I will post pictures if you want when I decide what one I am going to get. But, does anyone know if this hurts bad? I'm scared. Image file not present in the recovered backup

Oh dude, I have wanted a tattoo forever and I am finally aloud to get one. Plus, I'm getting a cross. I'm catholic so I will not regret something like this. I probably would regret, oh lets say the mushroom from mario brothers (cIRca), but not this one.

How are they gay? I don't understand. Maybe if you get stupid ones just for the hell of it or get them all over the place, but not just a little one. This isn't even going to be big at all.

A tattos for life, well unless you want the burn marks instead of the ink, so going through a bit of pain is worth it. Don't get it somewhere you don't want it because your afraid of it hurting because you may regret it in years to come.

I want a tattoo but I've never seen an image I'd be happy to have on my body for the rest of my life yet.

Get it done on your elbow or arm pit, it hurts like fuck there.

Whoever says they don't hurt is just trying to be tough. I've heard so many girls say they dont hurt, but they cry when they go to the doctors to get a shot.

I got one on my chest and it hurt like a fucking bitch. It's the worst physical pain I've ever experienced, but that's not really saying much coming from me because I've never even broken a bone.

It basically feels like get a shot a thousand times in the same area. I dont know, it may not hurt as bad on the forearm. The guy who did mine said the chest is a really painful area to get it done.

When I had my tatt (On my back) it did hurt but it was a strange pain... I sweat like madwhile it was being done and at one poin I kinda went into a sleep... till my gf proddedme and I woke and the pain started again.

But it is not a normal pain... you can cope with it easy... it is a numb pain.

Once I had it done the way home I wanted more... I still do even though it hurt (Which I knew it would) you kinda get hooked to them once you start

But I think it depends where you get it.... Some I guess dont hurt...

I am getting one soon once my kid is born. The tat I have now is my first childs name Faith on my back... I will get my next just bellow it.

Does everyone think the spot I'm getting it in will hurt REAL bad?

fuck knows.... Prob as it is thin skin. The parts that hurt me bad were on the bone but after it was the skin parts that hurt.

Its all over quick though man... when its done you will think "Is that it!"

Also you can buy this cream for tats so they dont get infected and they heal better... It can cost loads but its the EXACT same stuff as baby nappy rash cream ;) and thats dirt cheap so dont waste your money if they try to sell you it :P (Dont ask how found out)

Your not like some hardcore catholic though...sounds like jsut something to use as an excuse for getting it but its your arm bro....I def think tatoos should mean something

Man, you're in a stunt group, quit worrying. My mum got a tattoo done a couple years ago and she said it hurt but its not unbareable. Just do it.

take a piece of metal, hold a lighter on it for about 30 seconds, and hold it on your arm, if you can bite down hard and stand it, then you can take the pain from a needle and it hurts no where near as bad as a burn would. just test it. it'll give you more confidence.

Dude, Honestly, I would NEVER get a lunatiks tattoo in my life. You don't think you will ever regret getting a stupid skull on your body? But you think I will regret getting a cross? WTF?

the forearm is probably the most unpainful place Tom, 2 of my good friends both got tattoos there, one when he was 15, one when he was 17 (parents aren't strict). lol, why are you asking if it hurts? if someone says yes or no, it's not gonna change how it feels.

as far as my opinion on tattoos. I don't think you should get a cross unless you are heavy into god and shit, I think that getting tattoos that are meaningless and easy to see is stupid, unless your famous. I say that because if youre famous and shit, you don't have to impress anyone, but if your a common person, and youre trying to get a serious job and someone sees a dumbass tattoo, your chances lessen.

my mom said I could get a tattoo when I was 15, and I was about to get a god damn HEARTAGRAM TRIBAL like bam, but good thing I realized how serious tattos are haha, and Im so glad I decided to wait until I absolutely know what I want. (my friend got the bam tat, and regrets the fuck out of it.)

the only tattoo that I think is reasonable for me is getting my last name. one, because that's never gonna change, and two, because my god damn las name kicks ass. :D

BUT

I think I am gonna wait because you don't know how much you are gonna grow, and Im pretty sure if I get alot bigger, the tattoo will look fucking ugly because it will be all stretched out and distorted.

"The End."

p.s. sorry for the long post. blame it on my <3 for tattoos :D and HGF being down for like 3 days.

p.s.s tom, hoped this helped at all?

p.s.s.s watch miami ink, or inked.

Are you getting it done in pink, cos it would be great in that colour. Slightly camp, but great.

I was worried about this when I was thinking about getting mine. I was gonna get one over my shoulder upper arm and pec, which would be greatly affected because of the weight training I'm doing, the guy said that no matter how big u get it won't affect the shape or distort the tatoo
