yes other groups are wanted. I want to show a lot of new groups in the next 3 dvds that weren't shown in the first dvd.

but of course some of the groups from the 1st dvd will be in the bext 3.

You can't distribute into Best Buy solo. Distribution involves a lot of large stores together. I couldn't sign distribution deals for the stores if I wanted to get this on tv commercials. Signing any other distribution deal for n. america would have axed out the commercial opportunity. I was patient and its pating off.



I do my best. a lot of it is out of my control at times like when I waited a month for webby's footage or when my editor left town for 2 weeks for christmas.

That's a shame. I would imagine that if you could afford to do up front payments...it would really solve a lot of trust issues people seem to have with you. And technically...if you're saying that working on a % ratio is more benefitial to us, then surely an upfront deal would be more benefitial to you right? If groups rather work on that basis, and you can afford to, I can't see any reason not to do it that way. It would also probally save yourself a lot of time with not having to deal with our bullshit right?

I have 10 to 12 weeks to get the production finished. I decided to set myself a deadline of 8 weeks. I want this thing done fast.

You guys always bring up the same things and then I have to reply with the same answers... Please read my replies and don't forget them...

The first DVD took long for several reason. The 3 main reasons was waiting over a month for webby's footage when 95% of the dvd was done, my editor left town for 2 weeks for christmas, and the blurring took long but that won't be a problem this time. Those were the major delays.

Those problems won't be happening this time because I won't be waiting a month for somebody's footage and the other problems have been solved as well.

Asstreme wasn't happy with their section becuase there was footage missing from their part that me and my editor didn't have and still don't have in our media management because we looked for it the other day. Muppets wanted a better section but everybody tells me that they like the editing in their section. Other than Asstreme and Muppets, ALL groups like their section and ALL viewers have liked all the group sections. That is the facts.




For starters online independent sales haven't been great for the hgc dvd like it has been for the new jack hardcore dvd. paying up front money right now is hard due advertising, hiring a new editor and other reasons.

What kind of up front money would you be expecting? or wanting?

does moody know anything about HG?

Ok, well, 3 weeks is too soon for me, I can't get all of my footage too you by then, plus, I would rather film some new stuff for at least a few weeks.

Here's the first review I recieved today in an email. He didn't list what website or websites he reviews for. I sent out DVDs to tons of reviewers so I'm waiting for more reviews. He will reply to me tonight with info on where this review is being posted.

Fans of the MTV series “Jacka**” should enjoy “The Homegrown Collection”. “The Homegrown Collection” is simply that, a collection of home movies featuring some of the wildest stunts, performed by regular people, ever seen on film. The phrase “Don’t try this at home” was never more fitting than it is here.

On this collection of shorts, you will see people, mostly young men, setting themselves on fire, eating and drinking some of the weirdest, most disgusting things imaginable, performing crazy stunts and risking life & limb all in the pursuit of a good time. In one scene, a young man places thumbtacks on the ground, places his face an inch or so above the tacks, and allows his friend to stomp on the back of his head, driving his head into the tacks. When the young man lifts his head, the cameraman zooms in on his forehead, which is now full of tacks and bleeding.

Producer and director Michael Moody brings together, in his words, “some of the most talented homegrown groups in the world today”. These groups show the limits that some people will go to have fun and also the limits that the human body can withstand. Several times during this video, I winced in pain as other young men were doing what looked like severe damage to the most prized part of the male anatomy.

In all honesty, this is definitely one that parents, if they are interested in viewing the video, should watch at a time when the kids aren’t around, and if kids do happen to see it, they should be educated of the dangers of duplicating the stunts on the video. This is a video that has to be seen to be believed, if this is your idea of a good time.

if I need to get another editor to blur, ill take the time to find the right editor to blur it. if it takes 2 weeks, then it takes 2 weeks, and that is all it took.

there's no reason that groups on here that want to be involved can't have their footage from the past several years ready on mini dv, hi 8, or dvds within 3 weeks. that's plenty of time. if you want to be in the heomgrown collection dvd I strongly suggest submitting footage now for the productions and talk to your groups about it. Footage is needed for part 2 right now... Don't even think about a part 3 yet. If you want to be involved, part 2 is the DVD for people to submit footage for AND I need it sent to me within 3 weeks.

moody my group is getting better but were still not that great, If I send you say 30 minutes of footage (*or less who knows) Im sure you could put a 4 or 5 minute short for my group in the film right? If so Im not even worried about getting any Money Back

I have to see the footage to know what we can do with it.
