Got the Homegrown Collection DVD

Just got my 5 copies. Really enjoyed it. Definantly basic editing (which is fine for me) and all the content was kick ass. Dan G is sick. Loved the Muppets and AssTreMe stuff. Actually, everyone's footage was solid.

I loved Arse Marks's part, I hope you guys enjoy it.


I will do a basic break down later of each groups and what I thought was awesome and what not.

I must say, aside from decent editing (clip to clip) and generic music, I fucking loved it. Kick ass!

sales are decent. new jack is selling much better. homegrown will pick up soon with some word of mouth and soon there will be some distribution so be patient. don't worry about sales, worry more about trying to promote and in the end we'll all do better.

Don't worry, I am promoting as hard as I can. And I'm gonna buy the New Jack DVD aswell.

And about the editing Moody, I didn't have aproblem with it, it was just basic clip-to-clip. No really effects or transitions or titles, but I'm fine with that too. I know other editing wizards are gonna rip on it though.

It does the job, and thats all that matters.

I definantly liked some of the ffects, like in the Arse Marks section, when the skater breaks his ankle, and you zoom up on it, I liked that a lot.

First you said you werent gonna tell me because I wasnt in it. But then when someone who has profit share and video in the DVD asks you dont even tell him either.

Why is anyone even worrying about doing better? I just went down to Best Buy and bought myself a copy and hell Elliot, why don't you just go down to the theater and watch it yourself? I just saw the commercial for it a second ago on TV. What are the worries here? It's not like the primary means of distribution and promotion are a Myspace account or anything...

when I say don't worry about sales its because it's already known that about 80 pre-orders were sold. is it a big deal if we're at 85 pre-orders now? it's really nothing for me to be concerned about at the moment. im focusing on my projects in production and promoting the new dvds. thats what's important right now

im actually gunna go order one of this now it looks pretty good

how long should it take to get to australila?

the dvd will be in stores soon enough in n. america, europe and australia/new zealand, some distribution in china on the internet and next week the distribution company that sells product through commercials is wide open but I'm not investing $8,000 right now

myspace and youtube are just easy ways to promote and it helps spread word of mouth and its free. you know very little about distribution, promotion, or anything else you would like to try to criticize me about.

im working and dedicating all my time on establishing a label, a line of 5-10 dvd productions to start off in the stores in N. America and to be honest I don't have the time, patience or need to constantly update non-important people like yourself that think they're funny when really you're just full of uninformed bullshit.

If its no big deal then why not just say the amount when someone whos in the DVD asks then?
