NutShot Contest 2 ..FAQ answered

Well so far we have about 6 or so groups here that have contacted me and are planning on doing this ...when talking to people ...and from some of the questions that were posted ...I thought I would post the answers to the questions that people keep asking ....

On to the answers to FAQ

1. When does Footage need to be done .... All Groups have till the end of april to get everything filmed and no later than may 5th to get the footage to me

2. How will I get the Money ..... as soon as I recieve footage and veiw it ..I will let you know what amount you will get for it ...and then I can either send money to you thru PAYPAL(easiest and quickest way) ...or send you a Postal or International Money Order ...will be looking into the cost of Western Union as well as a back up

3. Where am I Getting the Money to pay people From ....Me and Some Friends use to Film backyard wrestling tapes and some jackass stuff as well and sell those tapes ...some of the Money is coming from those sales and profits ..etc ..the rest of the Money will be coming out of my pocket ....with the hopes of making the money back when I sell the footage for the contest ....because bottom line I am doing this to make $$ and to give people a chance to profit from this as well...most groups interested have told me they plan on buying new cameras, computer equipment ...or other things to better there group for future productions ..etc

4. Do I need to Edit Footage ..... No you Do not ...but you can if you want ...you can also promote your groups website as well(think free advertising for your site ..etc) you can add intros ...backround music(need to be able to hear people talking and such still though) ...you do want to try to send all the footage you can though ...as the better you film the reactions and pain ...the more $$ you will earn for stunt

5. What will be Done with this Footage ......Once I recieve all of the footage ...I will be selling DVDs of all of the footage ....and it is this way that the winner of the contest will be decided ...as only the people who buy the DVDs will be able to vote on which group has best footage ...my goal is to sell DVDs for about month or so ...and then contact each person who bought them for a vote ...and then announce the Winner Here by end of June beginning of July

6. Will I get a copy of this .....Absolutely ...Every Group That Paticipates in this contest ...will get a copy of everyone elses footage as well ...so you can see good(or Bad..) the other groups footage is

7. Can I Curse on the tape .... Yes you can pretty much do anything you want ...THERE Should Be NO NUDITY though ...

8. Do I Need to Do all the Stunts on the List ....No not at all ...you can do one stunt ...or all ...and you can come up with as many other stunts you want to for Stunt 10 ...

9. Can I send it on a CD or thru the Computer ..because I do not have a DVD Burner ....I am telling people that they can send on a CD if they want ....It is Better and Eaiser for me if you send it on a DVD already ...but if you do not have a Burner or no way to get it onto a DVD ...a CD should work as well ...as for sending it thru the computer ...would rater not do that ...have had problems with doing it that way (takes forever to downlowd ...conections on either end gets interuped ..etc ) but if there is no other way for you to send it we can try it and see how it works

10. Am I really gonna get paid ...or are you gonna Fuck me over (lol) ....YES you will earn money for each stunt you do that meets the requirments of the stunts(that there is no question that stunts are real and no protection is used ..camera work films whole stunt reactions, face..pain ..etc ) ...You can Also Contact Shaun with Critical Affliction and he will be able to verify that they got $$ doing this the first time ...and can even show you his paypal reciept from me in the amount over $1000 I believe ....

11. Am I a Petophile(LOL) .... NO ...I am not ...I do not get off on seeing people get hit in the nuts ...I am not doing this for my own sick pleasures ...etc ......I do think that Nutshot stunts are the funniest type of stunt out there ...and if you look at most peoples groups websites ...etc ...you will always find several stunts involving this ....When I decided to do this contest ...I picked a Theme ..and that theme was Nutshots ...for 2 reasons ...1. it is a popular, funny and common stunt that 99% of the groups out there have done several times ...even on the Hunt contests there are always one or more stunts directed specificly at this ...etc ...2. when selling our jackass tapes ..it always seemed to be the nutshot stuff that people thought was the funniest and the best ...I mean when you see these clips ..etc ...think of what all the people watching or other group members are usually doing after the person get hits ...they are all laughing there asses off ..etc

Nope, as it could be classed as pornographic material, and seeing as many people are clearly under 18, there's no question why nudity would be innapropriate.

As far as I know, no. But to me that's fair enough seeing as he is paying us for the footage I suppose.

I ask that you do not make the footage you film avalible to public untill after the first month of the dvd sales ...so it does not interfer with contest(or me making my money back ..lol...as why would someone pay ot view dvd when they could just view on site ..etc )

Alright everyone made their pedophile jokes, even I, now it's getting old. If you wanna question the legitimacy of this deal, feel free to do so, but no need to continue to give him shit

My questions: Do you have a website for this DVD? Are you selling online or in stores, or both? Do you work under a company name, or are you independent? You seem to be working in the absence of release forms which is rather risky on your end, any reason for this?

Sorry I thought I answered this one ...Don't have a website yet ...if enough people send footage ..I plan on creating a website to promote sales and the contest ..etc ...and perhaps a yahoo group as well(had a yahoo group before when selling backyard wrestling tapes ) ....will be selling online ...no company name ..so independent then...This is my first time doing something like this(other than first attempt to get people to send stuff in july) what would I need release forms for ...why would it be risky on my end ...let me know ...as perhaps I should do this ....so perhaps ignorance would be the reason

If you dont mind me asking, how old are you? You said you did some work on Backyard Wrestling videos, do you have much experience in video production?

By 'release forms', I'm referring to documents in which you are licensed the rights by the original owner to use his/her content for your project. Release forms are essential if you plan on selling your video commercially. Especially considering that youre using other peoples content.

It really isnt that risky I guess, cause the odds of one of these 15 year old kids successfully suing you is slim to none, but its always nice to cover your ass.

I am 29 ...did backyard with friends from work for about 4 or 5 yrs ..and sold tapes during that time ..I am far from an expert at video production ...I have some crapy editing software on computer ..and have been doing ok with that so far ...have had a few people offer to assit me on editing ...or help if I end up needing it ...so we will see ...lol...

do you know where I could see a sample of a typical release form ..if you have one perhaps you coould email it to me ... [email address redacted]
