Yeah, if she was a real christian, she wouldn't kick your girlfriend out of the band, but would encourage her to bring you along.

Shit like this is exactly why I don't go to church anymore. I went to church for 15 years, and then realized that they were all hipocrites, and that if you weren't a "Spence" or a "Thomas" and your family hadn't been attending the same church for 100 years, that you might as well get out while you can.

I would definately talk to her, and just tell her how much the church and band means to your girlfriend, and that you have never come between that, and never will. And if that doesn't work, I would definately go to the head of the church and have a sitdown.

Tell her that just cos your a christian don't make you a bad person. Tell her about the priest at my secondary school called Fr. Micheal, who raped a 14 year old student. He got put in jail, and our school was so embarrased that our priest could have possibly violated one of our students that they tried to cover it up and pretend it never happened. I swear christianity is always trying to cover up everything they don't like.

Not all christians are horrible. She probably belongs to a much stricter church. There are alot of churches that dictate that you cant date nonchristians. But I date nonchristians...and the whole point of being a christian...is too reach out.

Find sum verses in the bible where Jesus talks abt sitting with sinners and not judging people and etc.....write her a nice little polite letter and prove her completely wrong....she wont know what to do....she cant be rude to you back or she will be a complete jerk and forward one to her pastor or priest too

My mum asked what was going on, she knew something was up because my gf came back to mine last night all upset. So I told her, and she went crazy. She wanted to go down to the church this morning. She wouldn't stop shouting "I'll have her, I'll bloody have her, that stuck up biggotted cow!". I was in half a mind to let her go, but realised it wouldn't help anyone. Plus I'd die of laughter.

I second the letter idea, and if that doesnt work I second the 'pastor telling' idea.

If your like me and dont beleve in any religion then just become christian.. it would solve all the problems.. but thats just me.. I would join a religion if if I had too.. it wouldnt matter to me because I think its all fake.. but I was baptised anglican soo I donno.. ill be going to hell if he does exist lol

I went to a private Christian school for about 10 years. I went to church for 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week for that entire 10 years. All I learned is that religion is total bullshit and responsible for more deaths than I could ever possibly count.

What happened to your girl sounds like just typical Christian bullshit. At the very least, hopefully she realizes just how narrow minded these people are.
