haha, not a DVC-30, though I did consider waiting and getting one from here, since they've got a decent price on it. Anyway, it's still a lot better than what we have been using, it's a panasonic PV-GS180.

Starting to lock down the next order, so far Vode has got 3 slots, so there's 5 more slots available.
If anyone wants to jump on this month shoot a few samples over. Just remember to name them VODE01, VODE02 etc (example used if Vode has sent first 2 clips).

Ok man, just re-sent them, there's five of them, so get back to me soon on how many you'll need so I can make any changes that need to be made.
Oh, and on a different subject, I got the new camera in like a week ago, but when I went to upload footage via firewire today the footage has lines all through it, I've heard this referred to before as interlacing, so my question to you or anyone else who works with Vegas is, how do you deinterlace footage? Or does this happen automatically when you export it out of vegas? I need to know because I'm sure you probably don't want footage for the mobile clips that has lines through it like that. I'm probably coming off sounding like a total n00b, but all the cams I've used up to this point have been analog, I haven't worked with a mini-dv cam before or captured footage with firewire, so keep that in mind.

Just send it raw, ill fix the fields. Dont de-interlace from your end, Its better if I do it.

Well.....I kind of need to know how to do it though for editing our videos and shit too, is there not a simple way to de-interlace it? Or is it complicated? Maybe you could explain on msn?
