HG Radio

Ok as HGV is gana be open this week (dont ask when) ive been talking to kyle (some one from my forums) and he was asking about HG radio as he wants to play his mixing online

Well me and andy have been wanting to do our own little radio bit, and I also know skidmarc and dave have a podcast as well.

So what I was going to do is give people there own radio slots each week.. EG me and andy will have "weekend chill out" every sunday from 10 still 12, Dave will have a slot for his bit. Kyle is gana do 2 hours of mixing each week, and I wanted to know would anyone else want to do somthing?

When ever the show goes live it will show on hgv (so I hope this will bring us alot of listeners)

Also gman if you want to do some more funny as interviews that would be great.

I'd love to do some interviews dude, just gotta get my godamn internet at home sorted. I seriously hate my ISP.

SWEET, it wont be for 2 or 3 weeks yet, just wanted to get a head count.

So what would someone need for this?

A microphone, a PC and a broadband connection.

I guess he just needs DJ's to play music and talk really. I'm down for this, hopefully I have the net by then as my ISP is being IMPOSSIBLE.

Haha well, I guess you could say I'm nearly perfect.

I job-shadowed (worked with for a day) two different radio DJ's at two different radio stations because that's what I wanted to be... Therefore I have a general knowledge of what to do. To bad I didn't go to school for this crap like I had planned...

I can play any genre of music really, metal/rock/alternative are my specialties.

Chill out weekend with tom and andy (sunday)

(and me and andy are doing another show in the week)

how long do you want the shows to run? I might as well get things sorted for the first one.

Me and andy plan our shows to be around 1 hour to 2 but thats because we have shit loads to do on the show. We will have music (durrrrrr), comedy skits we have done, interviews with the public (talking about shit), fake adverts, Reading out emails and text messages, Movie reviews and loads more

Alright, I'll do some metal/rock/alternative news, a shitload of music, requests and maybe anything else if I can think of it.

prob. run an hour or more.

Best bet is if you set a time eg 6pm till 7pm, and if you enjoy it then keep going till when ever, as long as we cover the times you said your going to be live then thats fine (that way people will know what time and day to tune back in)

alright, sounds good, should we do the same day every week also?

you can mix it up if you want, Ill just have a raido page on hgv telling everyone whats on in the week.

Alright, was just wondering about that due to my work schedule being ghey about days off.

yeah its same with kyle, he works nights one week and days the other, so he is just gana pop on at random times and do his shit

Infact we should team up some nights and all 3 of us do it

Sweet man, if possible I'd prefer my slot to be around 9 at night to 11. And that'd be awesome, if we found some good VOIP software to speak to each other and re-broadcast (not skype, haha).

im not much of a speaker but I can manage to put some good music everyday
