Buckwild trying to cheat disturbed films

No, the script automatically inserts a static database value upon uploading the file. It'd be pretty stupid changing database entries every so often as it frustrates users and people can't watch old clips. I can add hotlinking using a server module, however I'm not entirely familiar with rewrite rules. I'll have to readup how to implement this into the .htaccess after the new design has been released, but I've used rewrite rules before and it's a piece of piss.

But if you keep the value of the video the same (e.g video is number 999), and periodically change the filename, the video can be found easily but not hotlinked if that makes sense?

Wouldn't work as the database value, aka the ID of the clip is outputted to the user as a link when the video is uploaded and the URL of the vid is set in the database which the script accesses for the user to download, no way of mass changing this unless we changed each video name manually and selected everything from the database where the id was the URL of the clip and added an extra figure to it.

The rewrite rule to disable hotlinking should stop this however, it just causes a few problems that'd need to be stamped out

I would like to win that prize though even if it's not great and as always from day one I have told you that I am first and foremost a ruthless business man and a great marketer, I'll post a link like "50 CENTS NEW RAP VIDEO" and bam get 1,000 hits so fuck it what difference does it make I know how to market a product, thats far from cheating.

I want to win the contest very badly and since no one won last time I am really set out to get this done and I am going to do my best to get as many people to go see my shit no matter what I have to do

I also want to win cause my website got shut down and also because it was a PIECE OF SHIT even when it was up, so atleast it will go to a good cause and atleast it will go to someone who is apart of homegrown

dude I'm not pissed off, I'm not always so quick to jump off the handle as some of you think. sometimes I do freak out over nothing, but you would be surprised how calm and in control I can be when I have real issues to take care of. But at the same time someone looking at me wrong can set me off so I understand why you would think I am upset, but I'm not sitting here stewing over the shit. I have worked hella hard getting the few hits I have already gotten and have spent about 10 hours into the project already so give me the rest of the month and let's see what I can really do when I set out to accomplish something
