DVD cover contest

Okay the contest is I need a dvd cover made, the front cover for now.

Here are the three pics that you can choose from (unless there is a picture that you know of from a clip that we have done you would rather do).

The name of the dvd is "Pulp Nixon" and the group is freak.inc (with a bomb for the period).

The look I would really like is for it to look like a crudely drawn picture (if there is a filter like that then that would be perfect).

But honestly be creative, if I use your cover you get a free copy of the dvd and a mystery prize (whoo mystery).

Please guys help me out.

I love that, but the dude jumping looks a bit sketchy and think the bomb covering his face is out of place.

Meh I dont know I love it but somthing seems not right about it.

Pretty tight man, I'd make the bomb on the guys face a bit bigger, and if you could give him a cape or somthing.

And the bomb's stem should be facing the right.

Also really good man, I'm digging the postion of the text and the effects you used to blur shit around. If it was a better jump (higher) I would be using this one but it's relativly small to use it as the feature for the cover.

If you guys want I can find some more pics that you can work with, because both of you dudes have a really cool style and if you need another pic or somthing I can get one.

I think monos is wsome but would look awsome if it had tomms, freakinc writing and bomb at the bottom

Edit: By the way, I dunno but for some reason Mono's text in all of his pieces always is just amazing...

yeah I know ... monos text always fits really well ... he probly has like 10000000000000 fonts or sumin

I think top picture is coolest. It makes Al look lie disformed or somehting, like deep river style, I´d use that, jumper in that pic isnt that good taht I´d use it for dvd cover.

By they way Al, when did you decide to name the DVD Pulp Nixon? And what's the meaning behind it?

Dunno, thats kind of cool name, hope there is story to it. If not make skit about it. And as the name is that, I would probs use Nixon at least as a part of the dvd cover. Andy Warhol style could be coolers.

There is kind of a meaning behind it, freak show was to obviouse, so was our original title were hanging in there.

All really random, I wanted the dvd to have the same random feel to the name, orignaly it was going be "tits don't wear jeans" but while drawing up some comics I drew a dude with a t-shirt that said Pulp Nixon on it. I instantly fell in love with the name and decided should be the title for the dvd.



Yeah man, if no one ends up making the cover I really want I'll probably end up making one of my own.
