Manual or auto? 6 or an 8?
Mate, I live in the heart of Sydney. Id be a fucking idiot to get a manual. Most of my driving is in peak hour city streets. 6 is fine. As much as Id like to pay 150 a week for fuel if I had an 8 I think Ill pass.

Theres a few small shopping trolley dents etc, but no 'huge fucking dent's
You may be mistaking the petrol cap area thing for a dent, the cover was off for the photo for some odd reason.
It is back on now.
I was talking about my truck man, it's got a huge fucking dent in the side from when someone was going like 30 on a dirt road and slammed into my dad.
oh haha sorry man, your pic didn't come up for me, so it was just the writing straight after my pic

I was always under the impression that manual cars were more economical, in Europe alot of people that live in crowded cities (that much larger than sydney or melbourne) just drive 4 cylinder manuals cos' they're the cheapest to run. You could look up various sites to back up that claim.
And you could always get converted to gas and get a government to pay for a percentage of the installation and what not, but I guess not many people are keen on that option for various reasons. Although my mates VL runs off gas and he's never had a problem with it.

Im not disputing that its cheaper to run a manual over an auto. But its less of a head fuck to drive an auto if you do a lot of city driving. In terms of paying 150 a week for fuel I wasnt really referring to the auto/manual statement. I was referring to the V6 vs V8 reference.
Think Ill pass on getting a 60litre gas tank in the back. Dont really care that much, I have a company fuel card but I cant see him too happy about paying for the amount of fuel a V8 would suck up. Gas is fucking gay anyway.

Is it common for people to drive autoamtics in australia and america then?
I dont know anyone with an automatic here, I think it's because all other countries apart from england are too thick to drive manuals yeah?

True, it smells funny.
And skipper, heaps of people here drive manuals and I'm sure they do in the states also...I know you brits like to think you're so smart and everyone else in the world are just idiots, but statements like that just reflect your own ignorance.

Gas is cheaper here and why would you choose to drive a manual if you don't give a fuck about anything but getting from point A to point B the easiest way possible? I can drive a manual, but I choose not to, it's such a pain in the ass.
Thank god for Skipper's ignorance.
