Can someone please try to explain to me why I can not cut the footage I have. it always fucks up.
please really I am going mad over this. this film has got to be done by tommoro and I can not cut it.

like I will cut the footage and it will turn black the sound will still be there but all the clip is black. im getting so pissed. it has to be done. and apparently it won't be. please help me.

what prog are you using?

what are your comp specs.?

What are you using to capture the footage?

we need more details to help you.

no my computer is not shit I attempted on 3 computers and 3 editing systems.
the programs I attempted with are adobe premier, WMM, and videoimpresions2
comp. specs?
im using a concord dv2020

You really do man. you need to give us all the info, and maybe some screen capture of the software malfunctionaing.

1 more time

give us
1. Editing program/version.
2. Capture method
3. Computer spec.
4. Screen shots of what you're trying to do.

Well.

I think you're doing something wrong young lady!

Follow my instructions.

In WMM, if you're using that piece of shite;

When you've captured your movies from your camera, drag them into the timeline. Once you've done this, click "show timeline", and you'll be able to edit them. If you still can't, then you're importing them in the wrong format, or just plain wrong.

Update me.
