Okay, I want to copy Jackass the Movie onto a blank DVD and send it to my cousin for his birthday. How do I do this? Can someone show me to a tutorial or tell me how to do it? I just need to learn this within 2 months.

Well most DVDs you buy from shops are 8-9GB and most DVD-/+Rs are only $+GB. so you have to compress.
Go and download NERO 7 and they can do it all for you. It will take ages though

Not true, I've got well over 100 copied DVDs and only one was dual layer 8-9gb.
DVD Shrink works best for me.

I have a DVD writer and Nero (dunno which version). And some DVD-Rs. Can I copy the movie with these?

Not true, I've got well over 100 copied DVDs and only one was dual layer 8-9gb. And most my DVDs I backup so are now 4GB. Only cheap ones I find use 4GB now. Most use the bigger cos of all theextras... and EU DVDs always use 8+GB cos of all the extra audio and SUBS.

Strange.... close to every DVD I have is 8-9GB.
But Nero 7 I know for sure can shrink them. Use Nero Quick start and read the VIDO section. it will show you how.
