PSP Compatable Homegrown

So which groups are working on making all there Homegrown Videos PSP compatible?

It sounds like a good step for those who are may have dvds coming out because this just increases the number of people who can watch your vids. Also some may save them to there PSP and show friends.

It's easy, all you have to do is get a video converter software and convert all your vids to mp4.

Like I said for groups with lots of traffic this is a really good move, groups like BI and DR (just to name a few) should really look in to this, or even make a section on your site for PSP movies and just have a few of your most popular ones in there if you don't feel like taking the time of converting them all.

Why can't you convert it yourself? My friend has an ass load of skate videos on there and he just converts all of them himself.

The psp looks shit, it's like the playstation but smaller and shitter, and the fucking umd dvd's are a terrible idea.

Actually it is better quality than ps1 and you can put anything on there man movies, porn, emulators, downloaded games anything.

Then I take back that statement.....except the umd thing, don't like that.

I thought they would be pretty crappy but when I saw Pat's I was amazed, the graphics are so damn good!. Also I thought that when you played a DVD the quality would be allot shitter than if it was on a TV...But I think its a tad bit better than TV quality

the converting's the easy part, but getting it on umd's is not, it will be costly to have it done professionally...

And you'd have to be pretty well known to make it cost effective.

But it's a darn good idea

I'd say the quality is on the level of the ps2.

I am using a mac and the forum is all out of wack on it, or I would have quoted nuggeto.

Nuggeto I am refering to the general public not everyone knows or even wants to take the time to convert videos, think about how many threads we have about video converters here.

It is just a convience that may prove beneficial to the groups that chose to occomadate it (probably spelled that wrong).

I've already looked at converting all of BI's stuff to PSP and putting PSP links on our pages

nah dude, my brother got one for christmas....it's amazing.

I thought the same thing. I wanted one and then I changed my mind when I heard about all these dead pixels. Now that he has one, I want it so bad. Nice quality and everything and I know there will be some cool games coming out later on.

My friend has one, I just don't like playing games on a small screen, the PSP is kinda pointless to me...but thats just me.

im not much for games so I perfer the ipod video wich holds 60gb where as the psp u need memory sticks..

As the converting is easy and its the cost of the things that will make people not do it... why not upload the DVDs to the site and make a charge download for them? This way its just converting.

If the PSP really does take off like iPOD or something then also making PSP friendly sites and quick downloading sites might also be good.

y not make clips already im mp4 format for ipods too? they are more popular than psp's....

yeah. If you can make them just be able to be downloaded at a charge then do that. Saves on loads of shit your ends.

So any formats would be good I guess.... It would not be too hard to do I guess and if it passes loads it will look real good.
