ok im looking for a new camara but im not really sure what to get I was looking at

I've seen cameras similar to that one MUCH cheaper on eBay, I'd suggest looking there. Just make sure to read the item descriptions carefully, because some of the cameras that are selling for pretty cheap are actually described as "parts" cameras, and are just broken junk unless you are an experienced repair technician.

Those cameras are pieces of shit. They arent even real camcorders...they just record to those memory disks. The resolution is pure shit on those things...and they encode video differently than MiniDV cams.
You have a long ways to go man. You need to save up for a MiniDV camera, learn how to upload, edit, and compress before any of your clips will ever be seen by us.
With a budget like yours...you dont really have much to work with. There is no 'good' camera I can reccomend...you just need to look for the cheapest thing you can get. Just make sure it's MiniDV and preferably a Sony.

Sony Handycam DCR HC39ESONY DCR-HC32SONY DCRHC20Sony TRV19EThis one is the version below mine (DCR-TRV22E) And theres hardly a difference between them both, its a great cam.
These all look like decent cams for your price range. There around £100, not sure how much that is to 200AUD.

Dude, before you go buying anything I suggest you read up on cameras a tad bit because like WEAK said those things are pieces of shit and not what you should be using. Get a MiniDV (once again as WEAK said) but before you do go to a website and read about MiniDV cameras a figure out the difference between them and those shitty cameras you are looking at.

Why not rent afew cames and see what the diff is and get some vids out? Or just look on ebay for a bargin.
